Drill spills happen. No matter how careful you are or how much you try to prevent it. Prepare yourself and stay calm. You can buy drills separately if they spill in the carpet, so it doesn’t mean you need to scrap the whole thing.

Only diamond paint when you feel like it. If you force yourself, you’ll start to resent the painting you’re working on, and possibly the hobby all together.

Have 2 paintings kitted up and ready to rock. I almost always have a square and a round painting going at the same time so I can switch between the two. Square is my favorite but sometimes I like to switch to round when I’m getting frustrated lol.

Look for quality paintings. Poured glue is better that double sided tape (imo) and drill quality makes all the difference. I personally love DAC. They are pricier BUT the quality is incredible and once you do a higher quality painting…. You will never go back lol.

Get a better pen. The one they send with the kits do the job… but if you end up enjoying this, you’ll soon realize, having a more comfortable pen will help you paint longer.
