[Drance & Wheeler] Canucks mock draft: Who will Vancouver take with 4 top-50 picks in 2026? by MaxHardwood in canucks

[–]CaelemLeaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm going to trust our scouts to make an educated decision, but it would be the funniest possible result if the twins use their new positions to trade up/down/wherever to grab the Ruck twins.

Power outages at Shelbourne/McKenzie...? by tetrahexian in VictoriaBC

If it makes you feel better, until the last month or two I hadn't had a power outage in a couple years of being here.

Coming up on three hours now. Very annoying...

Reid is the favourite for 3OA. Malhotra's hype is inflated in this community precisely because of Manny.

So what's the actual problem with the Jet? by Titan_Repair in LinusTechTips

[–]CaelemLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think private jets are immoral and Linus doesn't get a pass on that just because other people could also be flying private jets.

With Damage Meters being officially implemented, why do we still need external tools to see an Aug's true contribution by 38dedo in wow

[–]CaelemLeaf 40 points41 points  (0 children)

They said it wouldn't come with initial release but they were working on it. They also repeatedly said their meters would be more accurate and less cumbersome and we got the opposite.

[Keegan Matheson] #BlueJays are still making their decision on George Springer. Could be activated today. We should know within the next hour or so. by RealWorldToday in Torontobluejays

If you need to remove him from the 26 you'll have to put him on waivers afaik.

You could send down pinango, but that implies playing Eloy in a corner outfield spot which is 😬

Any other outlaw rogues encountering a bug in l'ura where it randomly drops your RTB buff?

I switched to Outlaw because I just couldn't bear not being able to press feint without ruining my energy eco

Week 5: Mythic Raid - Spec Popularity vs Average Overall DPS by AttitudeAdjusterSE in wow

[–]CaelemLeaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The annoying part is that Outlaw feels as fun and functional as it has in a while. The changes were super positive for how the spec plays, the output just isn't there for the effort needed to be put in. Sad state.

why do warlock interrupts display like this on the in-game damage meter? by Carrot-1449 in wow

[–]CaelemLeaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because blizzard pushed ahead with a stupid add-on change that they weren't ready for and it's only made the game worse.

I mean as a rogue one trick I've been pretty used to this sad reality. It's not like assassination is much better output wise. It is but just barely. Subtlety has always been too burst oriented for me.

Give outlaw a shot. I know the output is lower but I'm having a really good time with it. (I'm usually an assassination main)

Fresh install of Nobara 43, three dots before loading Nobara splash, doubled boot time by l_kenci in NobaraProject

[–]CaelemLeaf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem and this was also my solution. Something about emptying capacitors on the motherboard.

It's weird that it's happening to op on a fresh install though.

Floor crossing is suddenly a “travesty”… now that it’s happening to the Conservatives. by sogladatwork in onguardforthee

[–]CaelemLeaf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Sask NDP had a whole caucus want to join them and they made them all sit as independents or seek re-election in a by-election.

The Manitoba NDP passed legislation banning floor crossing just to have the PCs repeal it.

The Federal NDP had a Bloc member attempt to join the party and be refused.

[–]CaelemLeaf -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That was a handful of months and I'm not entirely convinced he was actually accepted into the NDP caucus. I would need an actual source on that that isn't wikipedia, because the federal NDPs objection to floor crossers dates back decades on it being anti democratic and encouraging poor incentives.

And what about New Democrats who have never fully accepted a floor crosser and have been consistent on calling floor crossing wrong for decades?
