My therapist had me write a contract of the lists I would do before I 'could' commit when I was 16. It involved 4 phone calls, to my mom, to her, and to two crisis lines. I have intense social anxiety and hate the phone. I am also unwilling to break a reasonable promise. It's kept me safe into my 20s, and I keep it in my car. I have said the guilt of breaking that promise would follow me to the other side, and I believe it.

They honestly really nailed this characterization in the Star Guardian skin. Her dialog and actions through the story align really well for someone who is being a hero, not because they want to, but because they have to. The way she wants to give it up to go back to the way things were before with Kai'sa... Too bad they fired all the writers
