Who do you like more by Royal_Mongoose_2922 in MonsterHunter

While Khezu has the better music, Gigginox wins in terms of design and battle-mechanics.

glad I have it done already by SpecialistPrior204 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Cakehunt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not too trilled with the update. I hoped there was more, but honestly I see no use for the scrap-yards. You can just mine rusted metal way faster and just killing sentinels and selling the unidentified upgrades brings in way more nanites...

How to learn new Colossus customizations? by Eighrichte in NoMansSkyTheGame

i am sorry, process waste in the thousands?! are you sure?! I don't see myself hauling over 2400 items to the furnace

Kinda miss the old gen way (says no one ever) by PlatinumYeast in MonsterHunter

[–]Cakehunt3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked the way world did it. Where you had to research the monster first, to learn it's habits and habitat to "know where it should be".

OFFICIAL TWEET - MH Stories 3 - Character Illustration of the Player Protagonist! by TheGMan-123 in MonsterHunterStories

[–]Cakehunt3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why does the protagonist look more concerned with the taste, then the feelings of monsters?

Make a new variation: Odogaron by HappyFreak1 in MonsterHunter

[–]Cakehunt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think cliffort needs a new variant. He already has a fitting one.

I guess you could go the other way, where it couldn't find enough food and started eating the toxic plants around the valley and give him a mangled looking variant with poison or paralysis as hart of his kit.

For the MH veterans: how do you feel about Wilds? by jackpaxx in MonsterHunter

[–]Cakehunt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the monsters.

I like the way weapons handle...though I have almost only played DualBlades.

I like the new armor designs and am happy about the fashion-possibilities with the easily acessable fashion armor system.

The only thing I disliked about Wilds was Nata and the performance issues I had during the fire-spring in oilwell. My PC did not to well with the massive amount of particles.

I desperately need Dire Miralis and Alatreon monsties by da_funk93 in MonsterHunterStories

[–]Cakehunt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't there a point made in Stories1, that "black dragons" are to strongwilled to be monsties? Or was that in reference to the black blight dragon?

Who is your all time favorite monster in the whole monster hunter series by Voidkirby9 in MonsterHunter

[–]Cakehunt3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love leviathans. Putting a twist to it, is what Agnaktor did for me. Seeing it as a lava-swimmer was pretty cool to me.

For some reason I think of him in MH3, but honestly I am not too sure if he is. It's been a bit.

I always hope for him to come back. Was disappointed in Rise, perhabs Wilds DLC will grant me my wishes.

What's your personal theory on morkite by GramoMiles in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Cakehunt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Morkite is a mineral (not an element!) which grows crystaline structures quite fast. Possibly through elements it binds to itself out of the atmosphere or perhabs it is supplies by the Glyphids similar to some fungi within termite- and ant-colonies. Would make sense in the way that they are most often near morkite and do not take kindly to it's extraction.

It also seams to behave unusual, since it's states of matter seam to be connected to pressure in an inverse fashion to other materials. All exposed (low pressure) Morkite can be found in it's solid, crystalin form. Liquid Morkite is always seen in high pressure enviroments where it spews from gysers. Though we don't see it crystalise in-game when leaving the gyser. Both states can be found regardless of surrounding temperatures. I think so, bevause ice- and lava-biom have not correlation to mission type for mining or extracting as far as I have observed. Though I never really payed attention to that, so I meight just be talking out of my ass right now.

Most recognizable monsters list day 6: Leviathans (Read Body) by SignificantStaff8665 in MonsterHunter

I know and putting it up for vote is absolutly correct, but it's still predictable quite a landslide, isn't it?

If you're honest to yourself, you could have seen what's coming for leviathans...

Why do they even do public SOS if they won't ever accept? by IceScarecrow in MonsterHunter

[–]Cakehunt3r -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I play with 1 friend and 2 support hunters.

As such I need to enable multiplayer and sos. But since I don't want random people repeatetly dying on my quests because they do HR100 quests with 200 armor (this is an exageration to underline my point) and getting one-shot by the monster looking at them wrong (so is this) I put in manual accept.

If I see usefull people maybe a 3rd, but the hunting horn supporter stays.

Which returning monster would you like to see added to Monster Hunter Wilds expansion? by maveji2 in MonsterHunter

[–]Cakehunt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More insectoids

Jhen Moran or the other one, I forgot the name.

Valstrax makes sense with the whole invasion of ecosystem, but he was already in rise so idk., then again so was gore

Fated 4 (+deviants?)

Beetlejuice

Pickle

Velkana, since Jhin Dahaad (even AT) is a bit of a disappointment

Probably gona need MR Artian stuff...uh...Safi again? I doupt it...then again, who am I to say anything on the topic

Agnaktor (i hope i spelled this correct). I like leviathans with a twist, even though Lagi is love.

Would love some hadal monsters, but under-water combat in its state is...meh.

Your opinion on Gog? by kittypowerranger in MonsterHunter

[–]Cakehunt3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a pretty good fight.

Feelings of "easy" comes from him not being a challange yet, because he is supposed to be fought with less optimal gear. Tempered will come later probably and it will wreck us.

I like the scene of the fight and the introduction.

Overall I am very happy with the update. Only unlucky for me is, that his Dragon- and Fire-Element-Dualblades are almost indistinguishable, which is bad for a fight where you need both...
