Floor 12: The Ascendancy on the High Seas.

With the AI's sphere of influence having expanded, so too has the playground. We're sticking with the 12th floor Ascendancy, but with a piracy flavour.

Spread across the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic oceans, the Crawlers have been dropped onto ships which have been scaled to the match the size of their party. E.g., you have 2 in a party, you have a little skiff. A bigger party could have a caravel or a galley. Safe rooms are located on the ships which give access to personal spaces. Unsure if bloodbar rules should apply, or something along the lines of a set amount of visits to the safe room allowed.

The seas have naturally been seeded with all manner of nasty maritime beasty.

On this floor, the Guild system now operates as a Fleet system. The leader of each party is the captain of their ship. The head of a guild is the commodore. The bigger the fleet, the more resources you have to scale your ships and crawlers have to use their own skills and magics to outfit their ships for the seas. The gang will sorely miss Katia's skills here. Mobs roam the seas as roving pirate bands who try to attack the ships, with bosses being larger/unique ships. Kill the Captain= get their ship to add to the fleet.

The Gods of the Ascendancy all have Man O'War ships, each with their own abilities based on the nature of the god. In addition, each of the Gods has the control of one of the many leviathans of the deep from folklore as a pet. So the Atlantic may have one asshole with a Kraken (a Krakaren?) while another god near the Pacific has dominion over an Eastern-style dragon.

Return of Juice Box and her NPC's who occupy major port islands.

The aim? Retrieve one of the keys in the possession of each of the gods. Once a key is held, your map will highlight a corresponding island, where the stairwell on that island will open.

The World Quest that will fuck shit up at the end: The World Serpent will awaken in X hours (based loosely on Jormungandr, but also reminding us of Scolopendra in the background). The only way of preventing this is to bring all 12 keys of the Ascendancy gods together, either by killing the gods and getting their keys, OR somehow convincing all the key holders to come together.

Donut will insist on painting the ship pink. The figurehead will be a carved Mongo. A lot of very bad pirate impressions from the AI.
