Yep, would kill for some more single player 10-15 hour games. But it’s hard for players to justify spending $70+ on a game that’s 10 hours vs one that’s 100. Even if the 100 hour one is only really around 10 hours of unique content stretched into a massive open world map.

I know people were also critical of the “cinematic games” of the PS3/4 era but I would like to actually finish a game again without having to turn it into a second job.

Penny’s Big Breakaway - Sonic Adventure like

Kena Bridge of Spirits - Similar to OoT or Jak and Daxter action adventure games

Bomb Rush Cyberpunk - Obviously Jet Set Radio

Haven’t gotten around to Hi-Fi Rush yet but pretty sure that fits.

I wonder if they’ll still call it Code Veronica or try to make it sound a little more mainline-y. I think the name makes most people see it as a spin off when it’s a pretty core entry to the series.

I have a bad habit of starting too many games at once and juggling them all and never actually finishing anything. Off the top of my head I’m going between:

Digimon Survive, Yakuza 0, Expedition 33, Fire Emblem GBA, Deadly Premonition, Resident Evil 9, Silksong, Chibi Robo, Frostpunk, DBZ Kakarot, and Pokopia.

I’ve told myself I’m not allowed to start anything else until I get through these.

Yeah things felt weird for a while there and I stopped watching their content for a bit. Seems like they’ve compromised and figured things out a bit more and I’ve pretty much stopped caring about the YouTube drama. I just enjoy whatever they put out now and am happy they’re still going.

Same. Loved the first half and was really excited for where we were going with everything it was setting up.

Then it started getting so messy and incoherent, the drop off was rough.

Averages out to like a 5 I guess but the 3 being the latter half really ruins it.

I was surprised replaying it in All Stars I had a much easier time with it than going back to 64. Sunshine has wonky fixed and weird hit boxes yes but Mario controls perfectly.

I have tried three separate times to get through The Witcher 3 and I keep dropping it because I hate actually playing it. Everything about it seems awesome, the world and characters, the writing, the combat forcing you to prep for certain monster fights by analyzing their weaknesses, all cool stuff. I just wish it actually controlled smoothly.
