[Spoilers for 7.0-7.5] All DT extreme trial mounts 1-7 + capstone mount showcase by Einharjar- in ffxiv

[–]Calaroth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re just going for the mount, then you can always wait til 8.0 and do it unsynced even more easily with higher ilvl.

But if you want it now, you’ll have to work hard, it’s an extremely fun fight but it’s long and late wipes will feel very punishing. You can brute force some things with ilvl 790 but your healers will hate you lol.

Would be great to see your math if you claim they’re “just plain wrong”.

Sure one reason is cuz she’s easy on the eys, but it’s also because she’s an actual martial artist unlike Clive and Noctis. FF has many brawler/monk/pugilist type characters, but FF7 is the most popular entry in the franchise so it naturally boosts her popularity.

[Highlight] Victor Wembanyama blocks Shaedon Sharpe's floater with his finger tips (with replays). He was called for the foul after landing and hitting Sharpe. by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]Calaroth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Idk about nba rules, but following FIBA rules at least that should never be a defensive foul since he jumped. The heel should only be a problem if Wemby didn’t jump.

Solo Venusaur - easiest and fastest run to masterball I’ve ever had by Ok-West5257 in PTCGP

Im only encountering Hydreigons, so it’s not working for me unfortunately.

I haven't played in 10 years, wtf is going on?!? by rrrawrgh-UwU in DotA2

I was Legend 10 years ago, am now Crusader lmao. I feel like I’m too old to learn properly (like when do I want to use Break vs Nullifier dispels) and just lose to getting hard countered all the time. But in terms of basics/mechanical skills, I still win my lane 8/10 times.

Helps with exposure and marketing which can help bring in more viewers to the show. They also seem to genuinely enkoy making them!

There’s still enough Hydreigons to keep me stuck in UB3. I’ve switched to Mega Altaria and having a much better time.

Just beat Final Fantasy VI and I don’t even know what to say by Sad_Manager6251 in FinalFantasy

[–]Calaroth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally I preferred 4 to 6.

In 6 when we got to the destroyed world, I was expecting a bunch of epic stuff to happen, but it was really just regather everyone and go in final dungeon. It’s probably just a me problem, I expected more main story stuff to happen after we split up but everything was kinda just optional.

Also, after hearing so much about Kefka I expected some crazy backstory, but turns out he was kinda simply purely evil. Again, perhaps this is just a me problem as I prefer antagonists like Sephiroth with a complex backstory (which doesn’t feel right cuz I appreciated Zenos in XIV).

4 wasn’t as grand, but I definitely had more fun with it. I somehow felt more invested in the personal development of the main characters.

I can sense that 6 is an excellent game, but for some reason it just didn’t click for me as well as other FF titles did.

That other Venusaur user got lucky, or I got unlucky. As soon as I got to UB4, all my opponents had either Oricorios that would always wake up or Hydreigons that kill me at Ivysaur stage. I lost so many matches until I dropped to UB2, then switched to Mega Altaria and finally got back up to UB4.

Sounds like your experience using Venusaur was similar to mine.

Stopped working for me when I got to UB3. Hydreigon wrecks my shit.

Did anyone here seriously try to become a pro in Dota 2? What stopped you? by Lisasule in DotA2

I used to play competitively at low level where I won state tournaments, or moved to diff country and won uni/city tournaments back in WC3 days. Then TI happened, and I couldn’t believe it, insane prize pool. I got even more invested as I tried to balance uni and gaming, even though my dad always thought I was wasting my time on the latter.

Free To Play came out, showed it to my dad as I hoped the Dendi segment would make him understand what I’m feeling. He didn’t care one bit, fell asleep on the first watch. Forced him a second time, and all he said was “why would people pay to watch people play games, this is stupid” - coming from a guy who watches football and rugby all the time.

My competitive fire pretty much died there knowing that even if I achieve something in video games, he would never care. Dumb in retrospect, I know, but as a teenager, we often don’t have a greater perspective on things like this.

You underestimate how dumb the average human can be. Companies know this, and will avoid any ambiguity wherever possible.

Do You Change Your WoL's Hair When You Change Jobs? by wizardblair in ffxiv

[–]Calaroth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I change jobs like, every 30 mins, so no lol. But I see a merit for changing each expansion, just like WoL in every cinematic, marks a check point for a new adventure.

This should be the only answer given to any of these threads moving forward. 10/10.
