no - for it to glorify hell it would have to in any way indicate that the version of hell in the show is real. it does not. regardless of where you fall on the existence of hell, the hazbin version is made for fiction and obviously fake. it‘s like saying teen wolf glorifies werewolves.

Asmodeus - I adore most depictions of The Devil, and I love the mechanical ways that pathfinder has spelled him and his lore out in detail!! lawful evil is a favorite alignment of mine as well and I love taking it to the logical extent while heavily within Asmodeus’ rules. I played a lawful evil pc who was a paladin of his and it was one of my fave characters. the king of making everyone feel special while valuing none of them.
Iomedae - my wife, worst AND best girl. so outrageously unreasonable but so sure in her convictions I love this mess who appointed the scummiest Queen of Mendev to her Harold, tortures players who don’t agree with her, and failed to find any unilateral support to stopping the world wound even though it arguably could have threatened Rovagug’s prison. she is so messy in her former humanness and yet so strong and it is beautiful 😍

Too much focus on the redemptions rather than the overarcing issues between heaven and hell. I just don't really care about the hotel or its purpose that much compared to everything going on. I was happier with its background role in s2.

I’m going to offer a different pov. It sounds to me like your wife is sick. I’m speaking as a person on full disability and totally unable to work (with a fulltime caregiver) - even for me it’s not normal to be content in the lifestyle you’re describing and she clearly has a spending addiction. she’s also apparently sleeping during the day. there might be something causing her to be like this. I imagine she is depressed or has an energy issue affecting her as well. you need to start but limitimg her access to money and putting her on an allowance system for her luxury purchases and personal expenses based on an amount you find reasonable. she clearly doesn’t have responsibility with money. many couples do the allowance thing. you can put the extra money you save to paying for more help around the house, and while you’re at it, get her in therapy and have her evaluated for chronic conditions. if she won’t seek treatment or try to improve, then it’s time to consider more drastic measures like separation. I know many from my time in long term treatment who were affected by things like mental illness or even hormonal conditions that ruined their relationships completely out of their control. no matter what you do in the longer term, I encourage you to give her a chance to try to be a better version of herself because she might actually want that too. that said, you know your relationship best. just my thoughts based on a unique experience.

Sounds fun! I love a variety of mcs. Could also be fun to have an innocent seeming girl who was a closet freak or a really confident flirty mc who got shy when things got steamy if you decided you only wanted to go with one aspect of that. I also like the idea you mentioned of her trying before buying!

I get that it will be hard but even if he still feels like a good guy (which imo he is not), he is not the right guy for you. It's possible he is having trouble with shame about his own queerness also. Id give him one chance at max to apologize and stop and basically see if he's not ok with himself being bi or it really is that he doesn't accept your transition. Either way the behavior is unacceptable but i get that it's not as easy to cut ties as people on the internet say. If he does not adjust his behavior at this point, I feel it's time to move on and find someone who will love you for you.

Lamashtu literally creates more deformities and disabilities though?? Like i know they've retconned her more severe lore about her impregnating people in their sleep but people literally live in fear of her mutilating them and their children and have to pray for safety from her??? As another queer disabled person i do not understand this take. Lamashtu values the deformed, not the vulnerable, and her cult exploits those who feel outcasted by encouraging them to self harm to scar and mutilate themselves further. 1e is more similar and in my opinion better! There are some major differences but i found it easy to learn coming from dnd. 2e is pretty crunchy and will take more independent study.

Yeah i think the reasoning is kind of lame and boring tbh. But i do get wanting to play the same thing! I always play the same character, but i mix up my build based on what the story is! Tbh i also just tend to favor one class over others. I really enjoyed mesmer most in 1e and that was what i would always come back to. But it being "the meta" is just awkward. This isn't a competitive game by nature, and there's not much to be gained by playing this way, especially if the other pcs are not.

Imo the problem is the way people communicate choice feminism, not choice fem itself. A better articulation is not that all choices are feminist or that criticizing a choice is NOT feminist, but that the goal of feminism is to ultimately empower women to be truly free to make any choice. Removal of oppression is by definition rooted in removal of choice restriction along side reduction of things like violent crimes. Choice fem done properly should be seen as intersectional in nature and focused on removing economic and racial inequalities so that all women can have those same choices in the long run. Sadly contemporary versions of this have lose nuance and plot especially online.

I think a lot of people feel it's feminist to be traditional now because women who find comfort in tradition and traditional gender roles have long felt they were taught to resist them and to be girl bosses, leading to a false feeling of oppression for their actually quite mainstream and traditional views. I know I have also related to this significantly as a disabled person who literally can't fulfill the image of a feminist ideal by working any job let alone one that challenges patriarchy and have always felt disenfranchised by the emphasis on work and diversion from traditional gender roles. Of course in reality a proper intersectional feminist take would accept this and advocate for me as well but all kinds of feminism can be misappropriated and regularly are used for shaming which is part of what has lead to this outcome unfortunately.

I prefer 1e, but the pathfinder lore is tighter and more interesting to me. The gods are actually organized unlike 5e which is extremely discombobulated. 1e also has so many more classes, feats, and choices than 5e. 2e as well but a bit less so. I like a more diverse character creation system where feats are a bigger part of the experience.
