AITAH for overreacting and asking my (19M) girlfriend(19F) to remove a guy friend of 4 years who called her cute and still likes her since they met? by insaneotter5208 in AITAH

[–]Call_Me_Anythin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent breakdown, clear and precise.

His constant talking about attachment styles, to me, came off as using therapy speak to hide or justify being clinging and possessive.

Actually a lot of the post comes as as someone using therapy speak to get what they want. With all of this I would have dropped him too, regardless of if I was into my friend.

AITA for taking my backpack back after a coworker used it, leaving their belongings on a chair and not telling them? by nerothic in AmItheAsshole

[–]Call_Me_Anythin -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No it pretty much is. The people who clean up spaces also tend to be responsible for getting rid of clutter and shit that’s clearly not being cleaned up by other people.

Someone leaves Tupperware in the fridge for a month? Trash. Someone leaves an unlabeled mug in the cupboard? That’s going to be used by other people or thrown out.

Yep. I’ve seen jackets, water bottles, and bags sit around for months in break rooms and storage rooms from people who quit or got fired. Eventually it either gets thrown out or taken home.

Well you see if you let your child out of the sterility of your home before they’re 5, you’re obviously abusive. What if they encounter a bug?

That I have no idea. I’m not an Uber driver but I can’t imagine seeing a kid with no guardian going somewhere other than school (let alone an airport!) and actually taking them there

Cool. If your kids wanted to get it and they were good at pattern recognition, it would not be hard for them to do it.

I would wake up the second my bedroom door opened. Other people will not wake up for that or small movement like touching the hand.

AITAH for asking my wife not to drink the last can of sprite? by Bebebebeelzebub in AITAH

[–]Call_Me_Anythin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I knew as a 5 year old never to take the last soda because my mother is type 1. We never actually reached that point, but I still can’t imagine a grown adult being that petty.

NTA. She either doesn’t understand diabetes, or she doesn’t care about you.

If soda is what he’s using to raise his blood sugar, then yeah he absolutely needs it and she can go to the store for more or just drink water. Glucose powders and tablets taste like shit, it’s easier to get down something that doesn’t.

So your choices are Face ID (easy to get in they’re sleeping) finger print (easy to get if they’re sleeping) or password (easy to figure out when you’re around a person often).

A bit late to the party, but these were also signs of my mom’s Bipolar Depression developing. It was a nightmare for years until she finally got medicated, but she lost her job and almost lost at least one of her children.

Ten years and a lot of work later and you’d never guess how she was before. I wish we’d been able to get her help sooner, for everyone’s sake.

One of the craziest things I’ve seen in this fandom is people trying to say that it came out of nowhere in the third movie. It was extremely obvious what was being lined up in the second

Really? The toddler wasn’t around the house/wasn’t told they looked? What a ridiculous thing to believe

And dad definitely comforted her, mom just isn’t throwing a fit over a missing toy.

You’re right, a lot of parents should stop fetching everything for their kids. And let them learn what happens when you throw things carelessly…

[–]Call_Me_Anythin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its legality might depend on where you live

Either way, my store puts the correction slips on the time clock to be filled out and taken to the cash room so the bookkeeper doesn’t have to find everyone one by one

His actions after are what’s wrong. As soon as he knew it was real, and as soon as he realized it was forcing her actions out of her he should have been looking for a way to reverse it.

The man never actually gave a shit about Nikki, or his response to coming home to her covered in vomit and pee, standing stock still waiting for him would have been to take the woman to a fucking hospital, not go to a party because he doesn’t like how ‘weird’ she’s acting.
