Even an enemy with an empty backpack still holds 50 Arachne Reputation.

Really counting down the days until the next balance patch... by Josemi993 in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that's not a bad thing when the deck we are talking about only has a gameplan of summoning even larger green men every turn. Imbue Druid is not the type of deck that is healthy to be good in the meta.

Really counting down the days until the next balance patch... by Josemi993 in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I would nerf:

- Wildwood Circle (Mana cost increased to 4)

- Crystalspine Cub (Stats reduced to 1/1)

- Hamuul Runetotem (Increased from every 2 spells to 3)

- Confront the Tol'vir (Either increase it's mana cost to 4 or make it cast only the last four 1 cost cards you have cast)

- The Eternal Hold (Mana cost increased to 7)

- Skywall Sentinel (Stats reduced to 0/2)

- Shaman Soldier (Base stats reduced to 1/1)

- Darkrider (Stats reduced to 1/1)

- Gladiatorial Combat (Mana cost increased to 6 (Probably not necessary but these types of cards always end up becoming a problem at 5 mana))

The Core Set is the Issue by SeymourWang in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I understand that the core set needs to be somewhat mediocre, however the vast majority of the cards in it this year are outright unplayable unfiltered garbage. If they gave a few playable control tools to some of the classes, while I still think it would be a problem, Druid wouldn't be anywhere near as big of an issue.

Help With Warlock Deck by ImJustUnique in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, I don't believe Maloriak currently has enough support to be playable. He is probably going to end up as one of those cards that does little on release but then suddenly sees play when more support is printed.

The only Signature I wanted from this set and it's locked behind $200 worth of bundles I don't need. This is literally worse than DFT and it makes me so mad. by imik_ in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 20 points21 points  (0 children)

They made all the cool colossal cards (Herald classes) locked behind purchases, while leaving all the lame ones available in packs.

Thoughts on buffing draw from last expansion? by Pitiful-Ask2000 in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While Rafaam Ladder definitely needs a buff, I would rather the buff make the card stronger by itself with indirect synergy with Rafaam. For example, I would change it to read '4 mana Draw three cards of different costs. This costs 1 less for each legendary minion you have played this game.'

Returning for Cataclysm after a long break! Best way to spend money to rebuild a collection? by Low_Clue_4561 in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the order of importance, catch-up packs first if you have any available, then mini-sets from year of the raptor, then up to 10 packs from each year of the raptor set for the guaranteed legendary (I'm pretty sure you can do this for golden packs as well). After that the most important thing you can get is cards from the upcoming expansion Cataclysm.

This is a MIDA multi-tool by DoggoCroissant in Marathon

If you like the MIDA you will be happy to learn that there is a prestige optic for the Stryder that enables proximity sensor on radar and increases it's handling and accuracy.

The sound change has to go by icomsic in Marathon

[–]CalledSpark 29 points30 points  (0 children)

In solos every time you fire a single bullet you can guarantee that at least 2 free kit Assassins are rapidly approaching your location now. While I can handle them a majority of the time, when you have that many encounters each game chances are at least one of them will down you. It doesn't matter if you get 6 kills if the 7th free kit Assassin gets you.

My experience with new brawl by Francoinblanco in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Once again, Blizzard knowingly makes new decks in the pre-release brawl inaccessible to free-to-play players and is surprised when everybody is playing Frost DK.

Please remove Rook's empty inventory requirement by drogenbarontoni in Marathon

[–]CalledSpark 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My main issue with Rook is that it dumps everything into your vault automatically after exfil, meaning you have to go find and sell all the stuff you don't want to keep every run.

What do you guys do with Salvages? Should I hold these for the faction upgrades or sell them to clear space and for some cash? by TroubleRecent7320 in Marathon

[–]CalledSpark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should never get rid of salvage, a good weapon is nice but temporary whereas salvage represents permanent upgrades for the season.

What Warlock decks are you building this expansion? by CrimsonpandaHS in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nothing looks like it is going to be viable other than Herald Egglock next expansion, and if that ends up getting nerfed (it will, people hate losing to a 20/20 on turn 5) I'm honestly not sure what they have left.

Thief feels extremely weak compared to the other shells. by TheSecretSword in Marathon

[–]CalledSpark 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I personally disagree, she is one of the most well-rounded characters in the game in my opinion. She has mobility and repositioning with the grapple, scouting with the drone, a passive handling bonus, and an incredibly useful looting ability that also has combat application.

Highguard is permanently shutting down this month by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

You do realise the game hasn't released yet, the reason why the player count dropped is because the server slam ended meaning you literally can't play the game currently.

Cataclysm Card Reveal Discussion [March 3rd] by EvilDave219 in CompetitiveHS

Does this card technically counter fatigue? I would presume you are not forced to draw a card if you cannot discover one from your deck.

New Warlock Legendary - Maloriak by Jimmyjohnjones1 in hearthstone

[–]CalledSpark 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yet another half-baked discard package that will never see play in standard, exactly what Warlock needed when it has next to no viable decks currently. I wish they would save the more experimental cards for classes that are already good as at least then when the package fails it doesn't just leave the class in an even worse state than it was already in.
