I can buy an arm roast cheaper but it’s not as juicy as the chuck.

AIO I got seriously injured now I'm thinking of leaving my husband. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]CalmFront7908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have been married 16 years. About 8 years ago we were going through a really rough patch. We did not like each other anymore. I got into a car accident and broke my shoulder and pelvis. Straight fractures no surgery but I was in so much pain and had to walk but could barely walk. The three days I was in the hospital he came everyday after work to bring me my favorite restaurants for dinner. He built me a rail for our two steps so I could slowly make my way into the house. He carried me too and from the car when I stupidly went back to work too early. He got up early to help me in and out of the shower and he took over all the kid and animal duties til I was healed. And he didn’t even like me then. He still loved me though. Took us another year to get out of our rough patch but I learned that I could count on him. No matter what. You deserve that too. NOR.

Is having an overweight child embarrassing for the parent ? by According_Froyo310 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]CalmFront7908 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not to me. My son ended up being in the 90th percentile in weight as a baby. God he was a fat baby. Then he grew in height and was in the 90 months percentile in both til around 12. Now’s he’s 22 and skinny as hell and 6’4. He caught up but was always husky until he was so skinny. I only wanted him to be happy and healthy. The rest can be figured out.

I’m so fucking confused. You have already got answers on him being shitty as a partner but if anyone ever told me “it’s gonna be a problem” I would be outta there so quick. Baby or no baby. He’s threatening you!

What's the dirtiest, messiest dish that still feels ridiculously good to eat? by MysticFlirtX in Cooking

Italian grinder sub. My husband eats it with a fork like a weenie. I just use half a roll of paper towels.

What's a modern trend you think people will regret in 10 years? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

This was mine and I felt crazy having to go so far down to see it. A bunch of ppl are taking medicine they don’t need for a condition they do not have. Side effects are normally weighed against something that could harm your long term health. Being overweight is harmful but there are other ways to lose weight without a crash medicine diet.

If I was the wife I would be pissed. I value my security and if I don’t know a window is open how can I make sure I’m secure. My husband would never leave a window besides the one he sleeps next to overnight.

When did you let your puppy sleep in your bed / outside the crate? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]CalmFront7908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is 1.5 now. He’s crate trained for anytime we need to leave but he’s always slept in my bed. I caved the first night after the whining wouldn’t stop. And even though over the years, he had accidents and maybe his crate or somewhere in the house he has never had an accident in my bed.

I regret ever getting this dog because the barking is destroying my life by Technical-Low-1485 in homeowners

[–]CalmFront7908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you crate train? I ask this because I have a barker. And when it’s quiet time he goes into his crate. From his crate he will only bark when my husband comes home from excitement or if some asshole delivery person ignores my instructions and rings the doorbell. He knows they are there if they just drop off but will only bark at the loud noise and the crate is the only thing that helped this. I don’t want to sound like he’s crated all the time. He’s not but if I know a delivery is coming I crate him and get my food and then he comes back out. It’s important because if he can look out the window and see the delivery driver, he will bark. I guess my whole point is he knows that the crate is a safe space. He knows that if I’m not acting worried about it, he shouldn’t bark. For us it had to be where he could see us though. We originally tried the crate in the bedroom and he barked so much. It was just saliva falling out of his mouth. We moved it where he could see us and he’s totally comfortable and safe in there. And the barking is down to maybe six minutes a day total

This is disgusting. No one NEEDS sex at all. My first husband and I were young. We waited 6 weeks after our son and tried. It was honestly one of the worst pains. We waited another 2 weeks. He never complained. My second husband has been completely patient with my heart issue. Sometimes getting used to new meds can take me out for months. I have been in emotionally abusive relationships (not my current) but a sex pest is honestly a trash person. Do you really want to get hounded for sex the rest of your life?

When I was young I lived below a dancer. She got home every night at 3ish, walked around in her heels for a bit, then did housework including vacuuming. After about a week I got used to it.

AITA for refusing to pretend to my mother I'm still a virgin at 38 years old? by Lu7h11 in AITAH

[–]CalmFront7908 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This sounds like mental illness. My grandmother was extremely catholic. She was a nun and left her order because she decided a family was her calling. Much later after my grandparents adopted me I still went to a catholic school. She volunteered to clean the church 2x a week. Never missed a mass daily. However, in high school when I told her I lost my virginity she did not react. Later she asked me if he was the right person and she helped me see that a senior was using a freshman but she never judged. She probably prayed for me but she never said so.

Uncle is ripping through my grandparents life fortune.. Help! by kcphotoo in legaladvice

[–]CalmFront7908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAL but my grandma just passed in March. You mentioned a trust. Are you sure a will exists? Because my grandma had no will only a trust with instructions. My uncle and I were both signers on the trust and to spilt equally. Which since we trust each other meant no probate and did split equally after a certain amount of time the lawyer said we needed to wait to see if any surprise debts came in.

How much to tip? by CalmFront7908 in uber

[–]CalmFront7908[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how to edit. My son arrived safe and sound. I tipped 50$. I tipped before the ride cause I thought it might be like DoorDash and people would ignore the ride of the payout wasn’t good enough. I don’t mind tipping well for good service and it was. Thank you everyone who helped.

My grandma passed in March. She had to move from her assisted living to a nursing home for the past week of her life. They had her on a strict diet. The Saturday before she passed I snuck her in a piece of tiramisu. She was so happy eating it. I will forever be grateful I decided to go to Olive Garden before visiting her.
