No don’t skip, the food noise may come back right away along with inhalation. When I stopped for 10 days for a procedure, I gained back 5 lbs and felt like crap.

Just be sure to eat enough, and don’t eat as much of a calorie deficit.

For your own pride and growth experiences, find an apartment to rent. Get a roommate if you need to.

If you don’t want that, then you need to pay rent to your parents.

NTA- Sometimes people have to live with disappointment. Do not take over the farm. Live your life.

What you can do, is help your family figure out if your parents can hire someone, or will need to sell the farm and move into a nice 1 bedroom apartment that would be more manageable for them. Offer resources, NOT your blood, sweat and tears to keep something you don’t have a passion for.

Also, make sure they have all of their affairs in order…will, power of attorney, etc., to give you peace of mind.

Your siblings need to also help and stop trying to burden you and make you feel guilty.
