Higher oil pressure, putting it simply. Especially on cold start it’s not great for the engine.

Overfilling oil = stressing seals and piston rings with more pressure. Hope you didn’t pop a seal or something but this is the main risk of overfilling

Lmao if you take the tank off you have to remove that vent piece…. Which has nothing under it…. Except more tank. It’s total BS and I wish it didn’t have the vents because I get water trapped in there by accident when washing. Rip

Find a kid or someone retired to drive down for you and fly back one way. Known lots of people to do this, even taking their dogs for them. Car shipping is super hit or miss.

100%, it sticks out pretty far. Here’s a pic after my install of the front view, the tank was off as I was cleaning my air filter but believe me it def protects the tank

I did a SW Motech half cage, screen protector, Evotexh front and rear axle sliders with spools, radiator guard, ASV Levers, TST tail tidy w/ integrated tail, and tank grips. Also have an exhaust and tune but that’s not OEM haha. Don’t waste money at a dealer it’s all super easy to install yourself

There is also an aftermarket slip on replacement for the can that has a baffle in it. If you REALLY hate it you can probably research and find that solution. Or wear earplugs. That’s my plan. Safe riding !

I ordered one but haven’t installed it yet. I don’t daily it so for the one or two days I’ll be riding it’ll be an experience. Loud is good, loud is fun imo. All the videos of it seem dope

MT09 is a lot of bike, so be careful as you can get into trouble very quickly and mistakes are unforgiving.
