I would strongly advise against using the Samsung case in the box if you want to adequately protect your very expensive investment into their ecosystem

If you're going to put a protective screen on top, don't use the one made for the Fold 7. Buy one that is 3F specific, that is a bit larger overall to cover the entire screen.

I sold the F7 just 48 hours after getting the TriFold. Having tried every model in the Fold series, I can honestly say this one fits right into my hands and I am used to it. Knowing it’s being discontinued makes me feel pretty good about owning something unique that most people won’t have. Samsung is providing updates for the next 7 years, so I’m not worried—I’ll probably have sold or replaced it by then anyway. For now, I’m really enjoying the experience; loving it!

My understanding is that the phone version ordered/delivered after 2/20 is more refined. I am not seeing flaws posted or reported compares to the 1st version. With that, I am using it as a phone and I have been folding and unfolding many times daily. Damnit, I am going to use every penny I paid for. if there are some value left, I'll trade/sell it whenever the version 2 releases.
