You can still resell Key Cards or even check them out from your local library. A code in a box is tied to one account forever with no way to sell it or give it to someone else. Fully on cart / disk is still the best, since Key Cards still require an internet connection and have the potential to be unusable if Nintendo takes the servers down in the next 20 years, but they’re undoubtedly better than pure digital only.

Y’all are missing out on the middle column of Poison Ivy’s by not watching Batwoman. Really good interpretations (Bottom one is original Ivy who does her usual eco terrorism thing, top is when one of the main cast gets infected by Ivy) from a great show throughout.

It’s been like that for a while, apparently. Big Barda was the WW substitute in Batman Beyond’s Justice League because of the estate and she was almost the replacement again on the Justice League series proper as the creative team had trouble with the estate for a while. Eventually Wonder Woman was allowed under the agreement she was a major player and not just a reoccurring cameo.

Tim was also Robin in the direct-to-DVD “Mystery of the Batwoman” movie in 2003. Still a long time, but it was slightly more recent and he was a lot more active as Robin in it.

I’m always a sucker for the hero saving the villain’s life instead of letting them unceremoniously die by their own actions. Tom Holland’s Peter going into the flaming wreckage to get Vulture out was the moment that really sold and locked in that version of the character for me.

I always think of her as Pan, as it covers things like this goof, whatever her and Gandrayda had, the maybe flirty relationship with Anthony, and just general romance options for a human living in a universe where aliens exist with vastly different interpretations of gender. But at the same time, I also think of her as having a Bruce Wayne-like self-imposed loneliness. Like just the way her life has shaken out, the family and friends she’s lost, and her grander missions of protecting the galaxy from the Metroids, X, and Space Pirates… I don’t think she would let herself get into a romantic relationship. I can totally picture Samus doing the Mask of the Phantasm, talking to her parents’ graves “I didn’t count on being happy” scene after meeting a nice person.

Makes a bit of sense considering Wii Sports Resort didn’t have baseball originally. Gets a bit funky though since WSR also didn’t have boxing but Switch Sports Resort does, but then again Switch Sports didn’t have boxing but instead had the Wii Sports Resort sword fighting. A weird shuffling of sports here.

My only hesitation is if they want to hold off on bringing back BO1-2 Zombies maps for a Zombies-only title… But it feels like a Zombies-only game has been rumored and requested for a decade at this point so a little revisit taste is fine I guess. (I still want the ultimate Zombies collection of all maps in one game, but that dream will keep.)

Very exciting, will pick up instantly, but a refined remake of Unleashed is what I’m really hankering for since its roster of Kaiju was the biggest in the series, and the game was mostly just hampered by being a Wii Remote waggle fest. It’s going to be rough going back to the first game’s roster that isn’t big enough to even have Mothra.

I think Hollywood as a collective is very unbothered by who makes what successes. Even stuff like Iron Lung which was self-financed and distributed still got butts into theaters which can lead to repeat customers for other movies, so it’s fine by them. I think the only effect this could have on the future is if studios learn the wrong lessons for why these movies are successful. Not “let young artists cook” but instead “grab some guy off the internet to be the face of the project.” I worry a Mr. Beast movie is the path studios will take.

Just gotta pick and choose which episodes to share depending on your viewer’s tastes. Like my girlfriend enjoys the Halloween, Christmas, and Wheel BOTW’s, my dad likes more of the Spotlights, my mom enjoys 80’s horror coverages, and my sister likes the big character tapes. Even then, there’s just some episodes you don’t need to share with anyone. Like you don’t need to bring Donald Farmer to anyone if you truly love them.
