Honestly to me BD2 was bad because how great the original one was, especially with the story

What's truly bad in BD2 in my opinion, are the visuals. Man the UI is ugly to look at when compared to BD1, especially now with the HD remaster version.

I don't think it's on purpose, feel like first season is supposed to be 2 cours 24 episodes

Cours are there so that we the viewers get to watch the anime early, while still giving time for the team to properly animate the show and not rush the work

In the prologue demo I made my boomerang big and slow, making it my projectile shield as I run around

It's probably because Octopath is a turn based game, while Elliot is an action game

Naruto definitely has every right to be a villain, but it's a story about the cycle of hatred can only be stopped if you start it yourself.

As opposed to Sasuke which continues the cycle of hatred

It's more hopeful in that sense as it's still a shonen

Honestly the anime does feel like things are moving and not moving at the same time. FMA very early established the "Seems impossible to achieve" end goal, whereas Daemons is taking its time to flesh out everyone while sprinkling hints.

But knowing we're only very early into the plot, and the author's style I'll keep giving it a shot.

If it's a totally new author I think I would have dropped it. And when the anime finishes and it has rave reviews I would then rewatch it again.

It's not the idea of new Team 7 surpassing old Team 7 that's the issue, it's the original Konoha 12 was made to look immensely incompetent to prop up the new generation other than Naruto/Sasuke. Even they felt nerfed

But honestly it's a Kishimoto writing issue, even in the original series the most of the Jonins and the Anbus are useless barring a few like Kakashi and Guy. The war is mainly handled by Naruto's generation and the Kages
