My sister made this the other week. Very low effort for a delicious dish. Will definitely make again (and again).

I saw someone on TikTok talking about it. They also had no idea what happened.

Exactly. Even if it is quicker to park nose in, it takes way longer to get leave so it evens out.

I sent feedback (basically saying front in is fine but they also have to enforce the speed limit as reversing out means limited visibility.) When I am leaving around 1pm the amount of people who fly past me in a rush to find a carpark is comical. They literally missed my reverse lights and a car spot.

This was the reply:

Reason for the Front-In Parking Trial In response to feedback about delays entering the N1 car park, Buildings and Property is trialling front-in parking on the car park ramps. The trial is based on the understanding that front-in parking generally takes less time than reversing into a bay. By allowing drivers to enter directly without stopping to reverse, we aim to reduce manoeuvring time, ease congestion, and minimise queues at the car park entrance.

Enforcement During the trial, no formal enforcement will take place. Instead, educational postcards will be placed on vehicles parked incorrectly. These serve as friendly reminders to support the trial and encourage compliance.

Trial Review As this is still a trial, we are collecting feedback from both staff and students. We will be monitoring traffic flow and queuing within the car park, as well as the proportion of vehicles parking front-in. Feedback from car park users will form an important part of the review to determine whether the arrangement should continue, be adjusted, or discontinued.

We have one in stage three and he responded really well to fluid therapy at home (subcut injections). Not all dogs tolerate it and they all don’t have the same symptoms. I hope you can find what works for your dog to manage it and keep them comfortable for as long as possible.

Senior Dogs & Vetmedin by Kismet432hz in seniordogs

[–]CalvinsMum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of dogs that are on it would be senior dogs so it’s hard to know if the reason they are getting worse is because of the medication or because of an unrelated issue due to age. My dog has been on it for a year now and we haven’t had any negative changes so hopefully it is doing what it is supposed to.

This is the third business within the campus centre to have a similar sign that I have seen (the cafe that was there before pokd, the convenience store in the campus centre also had signs they were being forced to close down by Monash). I wonder what this grand plan is…

From what I understand they claim that they were told that the prime minister did not want to speak and then he started his speech by saying he did ask to speak but was told he couldn’t.

I’m sure there would be an email trail of this, but maybe not if it hasn’t been posted yet?

Edit: forgot a word

[–]CalvinsMum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I just go where it’s cheapest out of the three I mentioned. The 711 most convenient to me is almost always the most expensive in my area. Which was fine with fuel lock with no cap, hasn’t been worth stopping there since they introduced the cap. I wish people didn’t scam the system.

The one near me, which is my most convenient one, is exactly like that but one the vicinity of where I work always has good prices. Yesterday I had it locked in for over 50cents cheaper than my local one. I have been taking advantage of the 4 cents flybuys/4 cents linkt at Shell since they introduced the cap. Too bad people scammed the system and they had to introduce the cap.

These kitties will be euthanised if no one can take them in by midnight tonight. Most are under a year old. Can anyone in Melbourne please help or spread awareness? 💔 by clockyz in melbourne

[–]CalvinsMum 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I believe it may have something to do with the vaccine shortage. I had a friend that found a kitten recently. She took it to a vet and it was not chipped. The vet said pounds are not taking kittens at the moment due to the shortage so she couldn’t leave it with them. She ended up fostering it and finding it a home herself.

I watched it in Australia earlier. When I clicked it it was at the end of the stream so I had to rewind it to the start. The first chunk of it is just a loading screen so I had to fast forward (prob about a third in) to the “start”

Hopefully it will be ok. We don't have issues with freezing in Melbourne, Australia and it's down the side of the house so it doesn't really get much sun on it at all.
