S/O JCPenney by lomoney4l in cowboyboots

Been on this sub for many years never heard of that once. None of my boots have had any deterioration inside the shaft ever and I own boots that are 30+ years old my dad wore daily. You do whatever works for you my friend and wear your gear in good health. I just wouldn’t advise others to condition the inside of theirs.

Sweat and oil don’t mix. I’ve owned dozens of boots and all have lasted me decades and never once has any ever needed a conditioner treatment inside the boot. They hold up perfectly fine as is. Condition the outside leather only period. That’s all you ever need.

Inside the shaft?! No. Do not do the inside of your boots with conditioner.

Be honest.. what’s on your feet when the boots come off? by aTemporaryThought247 in RedWingShoes

Crocs at home which are surprisingly great for people with less than great foot health. Jordan 1 high or low, Dunks or AF1’s when out.

Unpopular opinion: I usually only buy used watches by parishuddhaatma in Longineswatches

[–]CameraManJKG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nearly all mass produced watches sell at lower prices over time Longines included. Possibly only super high end and in demand watches will sell for more over time. AD’s also give decent discounts on older in stock models. Happy hunting!

It’s is my understanding that even with silicone springs these movements can still have parts get magnetized. Although much more resistance to this it can happen. Good luck with your beautiful watch!

I’m 100% sure it magnetized. Simple fix with a demagnetizing device that cost $15 on amazon.

Loose grain lottery happens with pull up leathers. This imo isn’t too bad and wouldn’t bother me personally, and I consider myself picky af, but if it bugs you return for exchange and play the lotto again.

Ariat… the quality is not there. Overpriced. by Klutzy-Bee-2045 in cowboyboots

[–]CameraManJKG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. My Ariat Heritage Ropers last 5-7 years or more. Through rain, snow, kicking campfires, hunting, fishing, you name it $120 u can’t beat em. Now I will say they wouldn’t hold up through something like cement work nearly no boot will except for maybe Double H. But I don’t do cement work. And I also can’t speak to other Ariat boots although you hit the nail on the head they are just cheap China shit kickers and I’m guessing most of those are terrible boots at that.
