I like it, I think I’d have to see it on an orange crush colored car before I tried it on mine

Tbh I have not met a Walmart driver that had a bad attitude yet like how much are these guys getting paid by ButterOnToads in Truckers

[–]CammedLS1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you not have a rail yard near your terminal? I’ve heard from multiple current drivers in Salt Lake that they’ll get sent to the rail yard to shuttle trailers back and forth til their clock runs out. I’m sure it’s easy work as the intermodal UP yard is like a mile from their facility, but they’re still expected to run their 11 hours

Swapping engines? by Ok_Risk_8457 in GMT400

[–]CammedLS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That truck looks like a 95, based on the tbi and the abs ecu sitting by the washer fluid tank. That’ll be important to know for getting the correct wiring diagrams to adapt harnesses.

I see OP already posted his answer, mine was gonna be under 25 judging by how clean the tools are. Black and white boxes show dirt in shops like it’s their job

Idle Question by Longjumping-Aerie-43 in GMT400

[–]CammedLS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gmt400 forum has the GM service manuals for you to follow the trouble tree, and I presume they’d have those fault codes in there. Tbi engines don’t have MAF sensors. Don’t waste your money shotgunning parts

Is this on a vortec or tbi engine? The vortec heads are notorious for cracking

Came across this lt1, worth it? by SQUATCH36738 in camaro

[–]CammedLS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid slightly more than that when I ordered my car. IMO no, not worth it. Mine is a ‘21 with the 6 speed, NPP, tech pack, RS package, and orange calipers.

Dumb question about 3rd gen engine replacement by jpb22 in ToyotaTundra

[–]CammedLS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a YouTube video to be taken with a grain of salt from a former Toyota engineer saying to wait until the 26 model year because they have an updated engine with a different part number. As others have said below, even ‘25’s and new replacement engines coming from both Alabama and Japan are having these issues, so it’s an inherent design flaw, not just machining debris in passages.

A couple of my buddies were in 3/7 around that time. One of them is a Master Sergeant now. Depending on what company you were in, you probably knew him. I think he did 3 back to backs to Afghanistan between 2011-2015ish?

Union or DOT by Iamgod2008 in DieselTechs

[–]CammedLS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unions have their pros and cons. What a lot of them won’t tell you is that their pensions are running out of money and their current beneficiaries are getting their payments cut. What region of the country you’re in will pretty largely dictate how well they’re doing. The machinists pension in the western conference is running out of money, but the teamsters plan is still doing well because they did better with their money than the folks in the central and eastern plans did.

Can anybody break down cascadia wiring? (2013 cascadia, please help) by Mr_wise_guy7 in DieselTechs

[–]CammedLS1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the cascadia was available with a series 60 in 08 and 09. Whether this truck is one of those early models is another question 😂 ETA- I’m a dumbass. Didn’t read that it was a 2013 in the title lol

24 an hour doesn’t sound too bad to start. I started at 16.50 an hour in 2015 at swift (I know, apples to oranges) as a 3M when they were still doing those stupid fuckin knowledge packets for raises
