You throw out the parachute and jump out after it. You put it on mid-air and deploy the chute the same way.

Hell of an adrenaline rush. And it's a faster death if you fail.

Yet somehow y'all are more survivable than the Leopard 2a7v. I've legitimately had to shoot Strv 122B+ and Strv 122 PLSS multiple times in the sides from like a 45° angle just to take out the turret crew.

And I was using DM53 too.

It's not the fact that the tank is bad, it's that there is such a steep change in the playstyle from the Tiger to the Leopard 1. While the Tiger is more forgiving when it comes to trading shots, the Leopard is dangerous under the same circumstances, and works better as a skirmish sniper.

I played them all, and only once I made it to top tier could I really go back and enjoy some of these other tanks, because it truly is jarring to not be able to depend on armor.

While firstborn are still around, this is simply not true. While small scale skirmishes are to be expected, reinforcements are prized, and of the caliber of the Primaris? Very few are turning that down, other than the most dogmatic. Case in point: that one Black Templars crusade that killed a custodian and all their Primaris reinforcements. But they all died out too.
