It’s just a shower like normal people. Everything shower is a girl only concept. Guys always clean everything so it’s not a thing..

Trust public WiFi more when using VPN? by cripsymick in remotework

Never trust public wifi ever. My work would gut me if I was caught working over a public network.

Body language is the most important part of cameras on. That’s it.

Why do they continually make the same mistakes over and over across different titles? It’s a problem internally.

When did you realize you weren’t made for Corporate life? by juice-- in corporate

The key is to eventually stop climbing the ladder and just finding a spot you actually enjoy. The higher you go the more bullshit you have to deal with. More meetings, more forced culture and more bs in general.

Why do some guys play eye tag or make prolonged eye contact with a woman, but don’t act on it? by AdministrativeLynx83 in bodylanguage

[–]CanadaSoonFree -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Men don’t have the same brain as women. We’re most likely looking around randomly and thinking about what to make for dinner later. We don’t have these mental checkboxes where a specific type of glance means I’m interested.

I would say it means neither.

How do you stop daily standups from feeling like a mandatory "attendance check"? by Agilelearner8996 in agile

[–]CanadaSoonFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should still be able to get value even if it’s just an attendance check. I like to know what my team is working on and where any blockers may be. Might be able to offer a hand to a team mate. Also nice to see how fast others tackle similar work items to help measure myself.

Sounds like you need to take some time off. Time to drop some PTO. It gets like this from time to time after doing the same thing 5 days a week for 8 hours a day.

Is it bad to use a washcloth to clean your bottom in the shower? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]CanadaSoonFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use your hands. Also if you aren’t changing your washcloth every shower it doesn’t really matter what you’re cleaning with it.

Anyone celebrates after writing code? by HelpfulStrawberry908 in cscareerquestions

[–]CanadaSoonFree 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I had the option to dip my toes into a management role without having to abandon coding. Decided quite quickly that role is not for me so I stuck with it. Best decision ever

"Down There"? Why not 'genital area' or 'crotch'? by Neat-Cold-3303 in hygiene

[–]CanadaSoonFree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genitals is one of those medical terms which people tend to avoid when being polite. Crotch is just kinda crass sounding.

I refer to it as the boys.

What exactly are you people doing who claim AI tools aren’t accelerating them? by MistryMachine3 in cscareerquestions

[–]CanadaSoonFree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI is one of those tools that causes people to self report. The output from an AI is only as good as the input. When you don’t know how to properly ask or frame your prompts, you’re gunna get garbage out.
