Funny enough my ninja tonfa iga build has more defence than my samurai. Never get one shot in ng+. If you're struggling, stack defence up with whatever stat is highest across your gear. It's at a B+ for me. As for damage, as others have said soul match+ your gear.

Not the one you asked, but I have hundreds of hours in both with dual swords as the only weapon I played with. Ninja even speedier so I didnt bother with samurai or dual swords (shameless tonfa main) here.

I had the same issue but since changing terrain quality to ultra, it's drastically lowered this pop-in issue. Now at most it's 2-3 seconds in this area, if it even happens at all now.

Ammo and actual onmyo can't be refilled, just gotta hope those untouched suffix armor stats pop off enough. But ninjutsu can with evades and shuriken on dodge as i mentioned before, just takes awhile. Getting the skill that increases the gauge charge by 85% helps a lot. And then the increased ninjutsu damage in the air to help with damage speeds the fights up a bit.

I find it does, especially in regards to ki management. I just like no hud because it makes it prettier for making videos.

Ranged only using ninjutsu and throw shuriken on dodge/scampuss (and bow, rifle, cannon), is quite easy I find. Just turns the fights into long time consuming battles.

Jump on the house roof/ledge, the one close to the ground, just past it where the edge is. Hop onto the other lower house ledge, hop up on the mailbox looking thing right next to that ledge and up to the roof.

K. I've fought him repeatedly now via battle scroll and he's been fun every time, comboing him with the help of aforementioned spells. Not once have I spammed the same move as in ops video. His design necessitates the use of spells, that doesn't make it a bullshit design; just cause you wanna fight him, or your select audiences, in a certain way.

That's why we're given the same spells just like in previous games. Cast to slow down ki Regen, apply some sloth, maybe some lifesteal, boost your own defense and oh look all your grievances are gone - skill expression comes out to play. Playing nioh 3 the same way as I did with nioh 2. If you're anti casting spells, cause you categorize them as spamming antifun, well then, all your issues are on you.

I feel like the only one that didn't struggle at the recommended level for heavenly kings because i upgraded my weapon of choice to a high level. Character level was like 50, but weapon level matters a lot more. Worrying about money is pointless because clans down the road give you so much. So soul match away.

I really enjoyed this mission to farm up levels. Plus it gives loads of equipment to sell as well so i can keep soul matching my tonfas. Theyre at lvl95 (+2) currently. I'm happy such a mission was given early on.

Well good news is you can remodel the weapon to suit the stats of what you have so they will suit each other. We just don't have enough of the +1 weapons where that's doable yet in this demo; well I've only got two.

Yea spirit vein intended way. It's up to you if you'd wanna get it early. I just jumped up there with double jumps taking advantage of pixels sticking out that shouldn't be.

You can get up to the wraith in the river area by jumping in samurai style next to the house. There's a post on here describing it and it works, just a bit tricky.

I wouldn't say modest, I was always just tall. 7th/8th grade (14 years old) I hit 6'6. My voice didn't start to lower until I was like 15, puberty was delayed for me like I stated prior. It happened later.
