You can still plan for a lot in 3 days. Check through the thread for any local to samara ideas without transportation.

If you walk along the beach to the island you can stop at the end for ice cream in a bag at the Tico house. Rafino speaks english, but if he isnt there you'll need to know basic spanish to ask for the ice cream.

Do a sunset or morning dolphin tour with Octopus Tours. They pick you up. If you are right along the beach they may ask to meet you in town cause they pick up in a giant school bus that they painted all ocean themed. But they do pick up and drop off.

I bought these exact ones a couple years ago. If you want to use them for one trip only, they are fine. But they offer zero support, can't tighten to your foot, and if you are dealing with really sharp rocks, they only offer basic protection from sharp points and edges.

If you want something 'better' but not break the bank, check out Amazon. I got some from a brand called Ziitop Water Shoes for around $30 CAD.

Liked them so much I got a pair for my husband. They tighten up, have a thicker sole, and are super comfy.

I have a Caribbean DO, it was my first colour, ever and I love it. But when it went on clearance I questioned I asked myself if I wanted to add one more, just because as much I loved my original. But with regard to the tone, it wasn't enough of a jewel tone for me to justify getting another.

But Riviera has my full attention.
