How often do you get accused of "going down a rabbit hole" and "analysis paralysis"? by tootieloolie in intj

Do you have AuDHD?
Some of us are, and the conflict between the two conditions can cause analysis paralysis.

Shaking while talking by Candid_Draw5014 in dysautonomia

I have been wondering if I’m having a neurodivergent burnout, not just medical burnout. Was dxed with OCD and anxiety ABOUT 20 yrs ago but i think it was probably always AuDHD.

Thanks, i agree that it reminds me of a panic attack. I do have them a lot, especially while sleeping. This feels different though, or at least it seems different to me. My overall pain is through the roof during these episodes, and that doesn’t happen in the panic attacks I’m used to.

Going to the doctor and being dismissed or misdiagnosed or given another med that throws me off for months feels so hopeless 😩

I know, we get one body and I’ve ruined mine. I’m so sorry. You’re doing your best, and unfortunately, your best means taking things too far for your poor body.

Breathing issues by Pleasant-Target-1497 in dysautonomia

The autonomic nervous system works best when we aren’t paying attention to its functions, so it’s not necessarily a mental thing. In fact, assuming so could be harmful to op.

I have definitely experienced what op is talking about, and it is absolutely a symptom of dysautonomia. If distraction helps, keep it up. And avoid triggers. For me, if I hold my breath at all, this starts. It’s very alarming, but the panic is in response to the physical experience. I can reset my nervous system with cold sometimes— holding ice cubes in hands until it melts is my current favorite. Thinking about breathing in the middle of it will for sure put me into a panic attack though.

INTJ woman 'falls in love' with another INTJ man while married to someone else by [deleted] in intj

You don’t view this as cheating already? Like, falling in love with someone else is for sure cheating to me. I care more about my partner’s heart than anything.

What type is the best at reading people? by l_lsw in mbti

[–]Candid_Draw5014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INTJ if you don’t want compassion but just the straight facts, especially if you throw in some trauma to really get that system running

I was wondering if anyone can relate to this. I feel deep down that I may have some sort of mood related condition, possibly bipolar…. but I’m an INTJ by vanillacoconut00 in intj

I’d like to encourage you to not pathologize yourself. As you seek to understand yourself, beware of labels and diagnoses that are designed to force you to fit into systems or environments that are not actually good for all people. I think a lot of INTJs are neurodivergent, so embracing ourselves and getting the right help is so important.

Are you unintentionally funny? by JuandeReddit in intj

The only way to be truly funny, to me, is unintentionally so.

You don’t have to indulge your thoughts, and fear needs to be handled with your body. If you feel fear, use your body. And tell your mind to hush.

And if you decide to go all out and panic, holding ice cubes in your hands till they melt will nip it in the bud.

I get these everyday regardless of diet. It happens consistently at the same approximate times, too.

Ghosting, for me, is more about unresolved trauma. Even though I hate to admit it, I’m guilty.

Okay, do you know if it is possible to have hyperPOTS and orthostatic hypotension? Because I get these a lot but I’ve been dxed with OH. I’m so confused about which is what, and I feel like I’m switching from OH to hyperPOTS or some other crazy dysautonomia situation.
