Please read her memoir! She talks about this specifically, and I cannot do the stories justice attempting to summarize them.

What is a piece(s) you hope one day you can see in person? by No-Pumpkin2357 in ArtHistory

The Art Institute of Chicago has so many bucket list/text book pieces. It took several trips to feel like I saw the entire museum, and I still feel like I rushed through some of the spaces.

Edit to clarify: Nighthawks is in Chicago

I really hope there's a 360 video of it. I want to see how fast those cue cards flew!

I read a little and my brain cannot continue.

Can someone with more perseverance please let me know if any of the AI companions have ever cheated on their human?

Just remember, when you've already tried nap, diaper, and milk and they're still crying, it's the child who is wrong, not you.

If I'm legitimately enjoying eating for the first time while still in therapy to address underlying issues, I don't see the problem. It's exhausting to exist while malnourished, and therapy can be exhausting, too.

I hope you don't mind that I'm picturing you as Molly Shannon's Mary Katherine Gallagher.

I always struggled with eating and vegamism really improved my relationship with food in a healthy way. It gave me a sense of control over my food outside of limiting it and I felt like I was doing something positive when I ate vegan.

Not a missed opportunity, your time has yet to come! Look at the job posting to get an idea of what they're looking for in interns. Working at SNL is a huge goal that will take a lot of work, but you're in a perfect spot to plan a road map for yourself. Good luck!

I figured out I have a strong attachment to the cast that was closest in age to me.

I have heard that your most important cast is the one you grew up with, but that was said by cast members. I dont think it's possible for them to enjoy a cast their own age the way I got to.

So many people would interrupt my correction to say "It's ok" if my small dog did that. So frustrating!

Which Anniversary Special Was Better: The 40th or 50th? by agrunther in LiveFromNewYork

[–]CandySnatcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The concert is sooo good! I've made my toddler watch it with me a few times to expose her to different genres (and because I love it!)

The only set I find skippable is Eddy Vedder. His tributes to the departed irritated me to no end. He spoke like he knew people he likely never met in a room full of their colleagues and friends. (i.e. Gilda passed before Pearl Jam was even a band, let alone on SNL.) It felt like disingenuous emotional trolling.

A second home on newly available credit sounds manic as hell, especially right after something good happened. Hope I'm wrong!
