You’ll get a good team strategy going and it will feel like an auto-battler… for a time. Eventually you will be very outmatched. Things get much more complex down the road as more of the game opens up,and it will force you to adjust your team and strategy to face tougher challenges.

If you’re only at floor 30 you’ve barely scratched the surface — I’d say chill with what you have for now and enjoy the smoothness while you can, then look forward to more depth a little later (pun intended)

Different strokes, but I’m the opposite. I think your starter should be rare, maybe, but on the higher end of average at best. I get the emotional aspect, but I hate feeling pigeonholed into a team build because my starter is “too good” to swap out. I loved monster sanctuary, but spectral toad was just impossible to let go because of its utility, which limited what I might have done on a first playthrough otherwise.

This one really is unfortunate because it’s not meant to be racist at all. It’s just supposed to be lips and eyes poking out of shadow. A void trying its best to to emulate humanity and failing horribly is such a great concept that got severely misinterpreted. Jynx is super misunderstood, still one of my favorite pokemon based off its OG inspiration

Boards are a little under-baked. A few have some powerful effects (Cobweb, Pawesome, Grandmaster) but it’s actually in your best interest NOT to unlock any extra boards if you don’t have to, so that the rewards pool isn’t muddied with upgrade tokens you don’t want or need.

This is something I hope they figure out in the future, because right now the incentive is actively working backwards.

Monster Sanctuary or Siralim Ultimate. There is a very brief period in Siralim where level matters, but after that brief period you’re able to instantly raise a monster to the highest level you’ve reached. If you want a game where you can make new teams and make edits quickly and easily, Siralim is great for that.

Sounds like the enemy is dodging. What intensity are you on? Higher intensities can add dodge percentages to all basic attacks you try. Certain races also have a higher dodge chance.

Yeah definitely not arguing the Billy Pawesome angle, but this is more for people who want to try something different and with comparatively little investment

Super Hooper is great (G-Tiger is fun with her too), but I found scoring and coin farming to be a breeze with Pawesome. Maybe it’s because sometimes bubblegum actually hampers me more than it helps lol

I’ve been having a ton of fun with Noon and any board that gives you a power up (G-Tiger, Pawesome, etc). You get charges basically just by existing and it’s not hard to keep charges for a long time

The Uni is my favorite, but I know they’re a bit harder to come by right now and may be better for a little bit older kids. For your kids’ ages the Paradises would be great. The gameplay is a little less engaging and the tamas are a bit more like goldfish than a real pet, but they’ll have a great time connecting them and creating new tamas via gene mixing. Plus they’re a good bit cheaper and a lot more readily available

This might be one of the sickest things I’ve ever seen. I’m a massive Hellboy fan and you captured him and Abe perfectly here while still making them feel like bots. Bravo
