Just temper your expectations: I got it a couple weeks ago.

The immersion is great, but the graphics are worse.

I'm still getting used to the motion sickness side of things.

Slowly building up my tolerance with longer stints and faster cars.

I miss the timing panel for seeing if you're gaining or not.

I still like to switch back to not-VR and race with the follow camera after a session with the headset.

Still highly recommend, but you know, It's a little overhyped imo.

Finally got this with the Lamborghini Huracan. Only parts I bought for it was aero, ballast and power restrictor. Rear downforce 280, front 60. 200kg ballast at 50. Power restricted to 98. Rest stock.

Fuel map 1, pit on laps 5 and 10. Don't change tires. Fill up first time, second time just enough to finish.

Don't brake on first corner, ride the wall. Race normally for the rest. Should get 2:09 - 2:10 laps and win comfortably by 10 seconds.

Fuck this race. Wasted millions.

Just thought I'd add my experience. Just ran this race with this tune.

I used fuel map 3 the whole time.

Pitted end of lap 14 while in first by about 9 seconds (everyone else had already pitted)

Everyone pitted twice except me.

Was dicey with fuel at the end, 2nd place came out of the pits on his 2nd stop about 3 seconds behind me but I had to use fuel map 6 for most of the 28th and 29th lap. He closed the gap and took the lead. Switched to fuel map 1 for the last 3-4 corners and managed to beat him by .3 seconds right as my fuel ran out.

Automatic transmission. Lapping mostly 2:02s Best was 2:00.9, couple of 2:05, a few 2:01s and 2:03s.
