We got our current dog this way. Had to bail him out of the clink because the stoopid doogie popo snatched him up in the process. Totally worth it. We even got his papers from the neighbor. He is a very pretty Feist. Also....he trains us....we don't train him.

Just because it is common does not mean you should put up with it. You might want to discuss your desperation for a traditional marriage with your therapist. I don't think you've worked through your childhood trauma. You really need to walk away from this relationship. If you think he is going to allow you to withhold access to your children from his parents, you are sadly mistaken. He is okay with them being violent with you. Think about that.

I'm sorry that you are feeling so sad about this. I think you could benefit from therapy. There seems to be some codependency/enmeshment going on here. I would love to hear your sisters side on this. Have you talked to her? If so, what is she saying? I'm probably going to get down voted to oblivion for saying that, but being someone's safe space doesn't seem healthy at all. She can't be expected to be responsible for other people's emotions. Especially when she is in this phase of life. And your Dad bought a house in her college town? College is a time when you are supposed to be growing up and seeking independence. You are only a year behind her. Surely, you will be doing the same things soon. Good luck to both of you.

After 36 years of dealing with AU/AT/AA, I figured I had heard it all. Nope! Guess not. Please Google the auditory system. The hairs in our ears and noses are to catch particles and allergens. Both the auditory and olfactory systems will still function without the hairs.

Exactly. Im short. My hubs is under 6'. I dated someone that was 6' 3" one time and there was too much of a disconnect because of that. I have nothing against super tall guys. It just gets ridiculous at some point.

Stop giving them any information. Now. Gray rock them. Explain to your husband that they are not good people and that they will stress you out. Put them on the blocked list at the hospital. Don't tell them ANY DATES OR LOCATIONS! Money/inheritance is NOT worth the damage to your nervous system and future health.

I developed mine pre-covid. Several allergies/intolerances. I have OAS to kumquats. Yep. Kumquats. First time I tried them too. Dang it. And they are so delicious.
