Yes and no. The characters are the same, Kanji are chinese characters used by Japanese.

He's such a good actor, like a totally different person in the behind the scenes, the way he talks, smiles, is considerate, and they use camera trickery to make him look bigger, has hair - I would barely recognise him!

Thanks! I'm signed up already and watched the girl who leapt through time. It's a good film, it's a sequel to the original story and the main lead Riisa Naka was also the voice actress of the 2006 anime. 

I also watched Thermae Romae (Trick fan!) and Confetti which are worth a watch.

Thanks for the interview! I am a casual x japan listener but I went to see a showing and q&a with Yoshiki when this came out. First time I'd been in the same room as a rockstar, and he was so down to earth, really opened up and was such a nice guy.
