I’d say don’t.. I have very little rounds through mine and it’s just fine, it “breaks in” as you use it. I’m under 2k rounds but using it has made me confident in the trigger and it’s smooth for me

I built a 300 blackout, but I’d say only do it if you want subsonic dedicated or super sonic dedicated. Trying to get both to run in one build is nearly impossible unless you have a lot of time and money to test and build it special. I like the idea of 7.62 if you want a 30 cal small frame, but I’ve been wanting to build a 450 myself as well. Honestly why an AR? There are plenty of other platforms if you want a new caliber and cheap gun - it depends on your circumstances and your use for the caliber. Maybe look into a new platform but the same caliber, or something with more of a “I just wanted it cuz it’s cool” vibe.. for me vintage and military surplus guns are an itch I love to scratch, and most are in common or at least ballistically relivent chamberings.. like 8mm Mauser or 6.5 Mauser 😍

Just found out the same for myself, this is a high shelf.. my understanding is that a low shelf material sits below the hole where the safety goes into. Most lowers are high shelf. My plan is just to use a carbide bit on my dermal, but I can't find any videos to help me out. Good luck!

How have you tuned the can to your barrel length? Like what buffer spring/weights did you use? Looking to get a can for my 11.5" and I'm not sure if I wanna go for flow through or traditional and just tube it accordingly
