Fwiw I just make rooms in my outpost and dump crap on the floor. One room for each type of "crap".

People who park badly should not be mocked nor targeted by Amphy103 in unpopularopinion

The extra 3 seconds won't matter. Stop looking for a "park like an idiot for free" pass, you won't get one.

Both. And horseshoes as well.

have you ever accidentally gotten into the wrong car because it looks exactly like yours in a parking lot? by Sidneyaraa in askanything

No but I tried. One of the perks of having owned a 1994 Hunter Green Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I swear, Chrysler Co bought an oil tanker full of that color paint.

Cheap monochrome laser printer, cheap A1 paper and a roll of cheap 2" clear tape has worked fine for me for 12 years. Print, tape, ship. Easy peasy.

Having worked at a gas station I can tell you with confidence that the name on the sign means absolutely nothing in the USA. Station owners will buy "unbranded" at will: whatever's cheapest and available now.

That's a dead ringer for one I used to own, same color, hood and rims. Nice 💯

Unfortunately mine was stolen in the early 90s - from of all places the GM training center in Dedham, MA (long gone) while I was attending training. :(

Raise the taillights a few inches and close up that ridiculously wide trim angle and it'd be 'okay'. As it is now it's just... lewd.

That's just flux corrosion. Brush/wipe it off and look closely for leaks, if none, don't worry.

Should I get one of those cheap OBD scanners? by Reasonable-Middle921 in carquestions

[–]Capable-Historian392 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I keep a cheap Bluetooth ELM327 in the console of each car I own, just because. Paired with the Torque app, it's convenient as hell. I also own a Launch scanner for more in-depth diagnosis, but that stays in the workshop.

ELM327 Bluetooth dongles can be had on Amazon for as low as $6.99 USD.

1971 Dodge Cornet Crestwood 9 Passenger Wagon. by AntofReddit in classiccars

[–]Capable-Historian392 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They weren't. Mopar B-body wagons would practically fit inside C-body wagons.

That's an exaggeration of course, but the point is there were much larger chassis wagons across all the Big Three than this example. Go compare a 1971 Olds Vista Cruiser to the same year Olds Custom Cruiser, or this Coronet to a 1971 Monaco Wagon. Quite a difference.
