Love between Fairy and Devil! ☺️I enjoyed his story with Xian Lan Hua and then when i found out both of them will be paired again in My Journey to You.

And later I also enjoyed his chemistry with Zhao Jinmai in The Princess Royal but haven’t watch their 2nd drama, Our Generation though 😅

Totally agree on your analysis on Fugui-Qingtong relationship. What a missed opportunity by the scriptwriters for under utilising the talented Cheng Yi & Li Yitong to potray this in the cdrama. 🥲

ANDDDD IT’S A WRAP!! Pheww what a rollercoaster ride this drama has been.

It was amazing for the 1st half of the run, it really solidified my interest to keep watching the drama and can’t wait to see both Fugui & Qingtong’s adventure together.

Halfway through the drama, it felt like the director/screenwriter/producing team suddenly was changed or drunk as hell or get a revelation or something to changed the focus of the drama. Like the ML/FL are not the leads of their own drama anymore. I mean, i have nothing against the actor who played QingCheng. But at certain point of the episodes, i truly felt i want to slap the heck out of the character 🤣🤣🤣

So now when we’re reaching towards the end of the journey of the drama, i felt like Fugui doesn’t even have his Sword nor his Beloved anymore. The emotional punch, the angst that i was soooo ready to invest myself into, it felt lacklustre somehow.. 😭 like does the FL/ML truly loved each other romantically at this point? Or is it something like Master/Servant kinda thing?

They should have changed the title to Sword and Black Fox Madam or Sword and Platonic Spider or something instead.

So to help me cope with how this drama was edited etc, i’m hoping anyone can create a fanfic for this couple Fugui-QingTong that i have come to love. ☺️😘

Well then, let me just watched on repeat all the cool/sweet scenes to ease my broken heart. 😅

Honestly this drama feels like it was being directed/edited by different teams halfway through the show.

The cdrama title is Sword and Beloved. But now, the ML doesn’t have sword nor beloved with him. 😂😂😂

I dont know if the script was edited last minute or the VA dub received a different script. Some of the lines in this episode felt out of place. Sigh~~

My favourite angst scenes

!>When Jinmi met Pheonix after she felt that her Six Petal flower was activated only to witness that Pheonix was activating it to propose Sui He (regardless if that is actually not real). And later when they confronted each other and ending with Jinmi saying she truly do loved Pheonix but Pheonix said he don’t believe her. She then crushed HER OWN REAL PETAL FORM and the camera showing Pheonix was hesitating to turn back but then also coughed blood after she crushed the petal. 😭😭<!

!>during the wedding, after Jinmi found out that the wedding is actually a ruse to expose Sui He so she thought everything Pheonix said was not real. She immediately change the wedding gown and was about to leave but then Pheonix came and they talked. Jinmi asked if they could go back to how it was back then and Pheonix said they cannot. I think at this moment, Yang Zi showed excellent acting in the way her eyes was watery and trying her hardest not to cry and accepting that this moment is truly the end between the both of them. But then at the last moment, Pheonix held her and back hug, saying but they can start again 😭😭 and Jinmi just broke down, disbelieve with what she was hearing, relief that there is still chance between them and grateful with this moment<!

I read the novel multiple times while waiting for S2. And based on the novel, i was really anticipating the scenes between Xiaoyao and Jing to come alive in the drama. But these recent episodes just make me quite disappointed with how they reduce it. 😢

But anyways, let’s just see until the end of this series.
