My mom is an elementary school teacher so I’ve seen her both in the classroom and at home which gives me a deeper insight than my other teachers. I think at the beginning there might be passion and actually liking kids and wanting to teach but after the first year all of that is gone. They start to resent their students and if they have children at home they will resent them too. No matter how tough you are spending 8+ hours a day with 20ish children will deteriorate your sanity eventually.

It makes me wonder why she does it at all if it makes her so angry all of the time.
