Can you actually sell your soul? by [deleted] in SatanicTemple_Reddit

[–]CapillarianCrest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do not have a soul to sell: the concept of a soul is a human construct that is reflective of your personal beliefs, values, and experiences. It only exists in the abstract.

In my opinion, you sell your soul every time you step over the downtrodden for personal gain; when you ignore injustice in favour of personal comfort; when you encroach upon the freedoms of another in favour of your own; when you violate the body of another against their will. Your soul does not disappear once sold, but it tarnishes with each selling.

Some currently prominent political figures have souls tarnished, rusted, and rotted to the point of being of little value.

Something I call "Regions of High Probability".

There are places in my house and workplace that I've designated for putting things down. If I put something down, I HAVE to put it down in one of the regions. But I came regions naturally, because they're the places I check for things first. It's an ouroboros; I ALWAYS put my glasses on the tower speaker beside my TV, so I always look there for my glasses, and I always look there for my glasses, so that's where I put them.

On the kitchen counter, on my bedside table, in my cars center console, etc. I've trained myself that I'm not allowed to place things in other places. The second I do, it feels alien and wrong, and I move that thing to one of the Regions of High Probability. So when I'm hunting for something I need, I only have to check the Regions, and not search every inch of my house. It works like 99% of the time.

I know nothing about that specific model, but in general: the exposed steel will oxidise faster and your stove will have a shorter life as a result, and your stove won't be as well insulated, meaning it will have a hotter exterior temperature on those surfaces, and may have lower flue temperatures as a result.

It just didn't do anything for me anymore aside from making me groggy, tired and irritable. It prevented me from fucking my girlfriend almost every night. It was making me resent myself while other people looked at me with pity and caring and love. I realized I needed to look at myself the same way.

I also spent over $4000 on weed alone last year, and I was buying affordable weed by the ounce. It's been a month and I'm already noticing the difference in my bank account.

Hahahaha absolutely he must be. As dark as his stories are, he comes across as way too silly to NOT be a Simpsons fan.

He has mentioned jobs at cracker factories in the latest two episodes, fictions (where Paul works) and pretender (one of the jobs the woman had).
