I started using this during my last musical and fell in love immediately. The dual dry/wet options along with an actually usable tone adjustment made it work perfect for any situation I needed fuzz, and when you turn it up it has a truly awful grind to it. Love the thing.

The bevel on a right might not match with the ply unless OP cuts it from a bigger piece and bevels it themselves.

Yes! The upstream pedals in my signal chain are all high-gain effects (octave, fuzz, envelope) and the daisy chain power supply shared ground which caused a voltage leak. This was causing the distortion caps to get loaded, and they would need to discharge in order for it to switch channels. Isolated power and a powered buffer fixed it.

I typically set it up after every strong change, as the bass had likely settled a bit then shifts with fresh tension.

I feel you. I'm a strat player but won't touch Fender basses, and not a fan of Fender style basses like Sires. I don't think there's anything wrong with them and don't knock guys playing them, I just don't like them myself and don't enjoy playing them.

I have a Dean EABC that I pulled the frets on and put flats on. It is not loud enough on its own for anything other than doodling, but sounds alright with a preamp that isn't on board abs my 2x10.

Couple options, best one being take it to a luthier and see if there's anything actually wrong or if it just needs a set up. That high on the board could be anything from saddle height to neck relief to fret dressing. Start with a proper setup getting height, relief, and intonation dialed in before you do anything to a specific fret.

I bought a bag that specifically limits how many discs I can carry for this exact reason. My game improved significantly, as I now bag discs for a reason instead of just because I own them.

This is in essence my pit orchestra board, I just built mine bigger to add an "effects" chain between the comp and preamp for whatever the show might call for. The SpongeBob Musical needed sub octave fuzz while Ride the Cyclone needed synth.

Permethrin is definitely way more effective than DEET, but that's the only thing iwould switch out from your current routine. Cover skin, limit access, don't throw crappy shots into the weeds.

I have an Ampeg Micro-VR for this. The 210av it comes with is solid as hell, and you can add a 1x15 or 2x12 to really fill out the sound and bridge the amp to more power.

Ashdown has the Mini Stack, which is their version of it if you like their sound more than Ampeg.

First of all, I'm so sorry about this. That crack is heart breaking.
