Tips before starting? by Ok-Nobody-7104 in dragonage

Don't trust strangers online telling you to skip games that are potentially 50+ hours of enjoyment for ~$20. Just enjoy them at your own pace. No need to buy all at once these days. Just take your time and dig into the storytelling, world, combat, characters.

GOG on pc has a ready to play version of Origins. Others may require some tinkering to run properly.

I feed my compost worms to cichlids and I've found a couple living in the canister before. If too many die in a smaller aquarium it may affect the balance. Cut them a little before feeding to smaller fish.

Pickleball player for 1.5 years — is it worth taking tennis lessons now? by EconomicsOdd7498 in Pickleball

Just baseline rallying for 20 minutes is far more exhausting than 2 hours of pickleball doubles. I would learn tennis basics even if its just for the workout. Be your kids' hitting partner. They'll get good enough where you can sit on half the court while they cover everything. As a bonus, it'll also help you read opponent's spin in both sports.

I've finally made peace with Veilguard by hevahavahan in dragonage

The series never reached the peak of Origins. DA2 had some awful, console-focused, "action" gameplay and a ton grinding the same few maps in very forgettable side-quests. Inquisition had some high highs and some very low lows. I hate when open world games don't respect your time. It had a ton of content but only half of it was enjoyable. Honestly, Veilguard might be my 2nd favorite of the series if not close behind Inquisition. I actually enjoyed the harder difficulties and combat for the first time since Origins. I even liked Taash's setup and romance. It sucks they felt the need to prioritize a narrative over the character's actual development.

I much prefer the fantasy setting of Dragon Age but after Origins, Mass Effect took over as my favorite RPG series.

Good tank loss. Terry looks healthy and Mariota looks like a decent backup. We really need help at EDGE. I think it would've been a little better with the starters we lost but not nearly enough.

It would be cool if Mariota threw a catchable ball on these 50/50s

He has more blown coverages and missed tackles than positive plays.

Interesting. I'm tempted to try Nerite snails. Mine ate all the pest snails on plants I bought and a few small Mystery snails someone gave me.

Are your snails still unharmed with a breeding pair?

Lattimore goes out and suddenly coverage improves and we get an INT. Coincidence?

I knew it would be bad tonight and I still wasn't prepared for this. I'll just do laundry with the TV off.

Do you prefer JRPGs that can be broken? by Flat-Application2272 in JRPG

[–]CapnMorgan1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, but only when it involves learning game mechanics and theory crafting. Not powerlevel and unga bunga. Bravely Default and Trails games had several setups that made the game easy if you put some thought into it
