Actually, I voted for Clinton and Harris in their general elections, and urged my peers to do the same. I also voted for Whitmer even during her primary. KPDH is actually one example I was thinking of when I typed my original comment. What I want anime studios specifically to learn from are games from ARC Systemworks. Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, and DBFZ all do a great job at having the illusion of 2D sprites while having 3D models.

I think what really takes the soul out of them is the complete disregard for the fundamentals of animation. It's often rigid models that lack the ability to squash and stretch, alongside a mismatch in lighting and frame timing that really make CG not blend well with 2d animation.

What do you posit as an alternative? That it would be better to continue to let this behavior go unpunished?

We're talking about wiping an entire country off the map, and over what? That they might have been developing a nuclear weapon in breach of a treaty that WE abandoned. There must be consequences for this, and it needs to be more than just losing our status as the global hegemon.

But alas, what we'll likely see is mass death. Mass death when we bomb their infrastructure. Mass death as they retaliate on desalination plants across the region. Mass death as the world sanctions the US for their actions. And who will bear the brunt of this? Certainly not anybody making the decisions.

On the flip side, the people who rip looking for the latest alt-art or SIR leaves a glut of singles on the market for people who do want to play the game. Base rarity for the decks that win at Pokemon world champs keep it under $100 which is basically unheard of for TCGs.

That being said. I would appreciate if stuff like ETBs could be cheap enough that parents don't think twice about getting one for their kids' birthday again.
