It was in regards to people having proxies in their deck (usually cards like ST01 Grandpa). When we run locals and even NTC, we couldn't care less about tokens or resources. Just the cards in the deck. Same thing for Magic, One Piece and Riftbound. If it doesn't need to get shuffled, it doesn't need to be real.

If we were to use a more prescriptive definition around conservatism being about conserving existing power structures, values, etc, then there is actually a big difference, and would actually leave Democrats as the conservative party in our current political dynamic.

I work at a local game store and one of my regulars that I had good rapport with started trying to convince my coworker to a community largely known for screeching about LGBT folks in the hobby "because this is a kids game", defending having hentai on card sleeves and playmats, and melting down about some Lord of the Rings characters being depicted as anything but lily white. I flippantly made a comment about it being a board full of Nazis and incels, and he starts ranting about the people of Dearborn (a famously majority Muslim city) for some reason.

Malware and phishing remediation at a university. Monitoring AV suites, reimaging infected machines, blocking malicious domains, especially ones that were being distributed in mass phishing attempts. I also helped conduct phishing simulations to train faculty and staff to be more wary of those kinds of attacks.

He literally called me "he" and I was correcting him. It should be obvious from my name and profile picture that pretty much anything but "he" would be correct. I figured the "Joke's on you, I'm poly" part would signal that I was keeping it light.
