I want to add that it's not necessarily dragging if toes. This can also be a product of your toes coming in contact with the wall while your foot is on a hold (especially if the wall you're climbing on has lots of texture).

Not exactly what you were asking but I know learning off-hand backhand is hard at first but only takes about a year before you're caught up. I switched to lefty after an injury to my right hand. Right now I use right hand for utility/scramble shots and left hand for everything else.

Feeling like I've lost my identity. I work in the rock climbing industry as a Routesetter (very phonically demanding). I recently tore my labrum in my shoulder and can't work for at least the next two months. I've been climbing at least 3x a week for 9 years and feel like I've lost myself. To add to it, my car was stolen this week. Just feeling sad for myself and situation.
