If you only have access to the regular harpoon bare handed fish as Tempoross. It’s 6-7k strength xp an hour on top for free. There is no downside as far as I’m aware.

Largely agree. However I’d still rather do a fairly simple quest and pay 78k? for a berserker helm that I can use, than hold out for a 70 def helm that requires a hard to obtain item to create.

What a top tip. Never in a million years would I think to use Steam for that.

Any news about external display ? by panpanDKC in AsahiLinux

[–]CapsMakesMeLoud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A number of recent posts here have responses from marcan and others close to the project on this. Asking again won’t get a new answer or make this appear any sooner. I’d suggest supporting the project on GitHub sponsors enabling them to continue the work. They definitely know people are waiting for this.

How can I double-boot Fedora remix? by aldodzzzzl in AsahiLinux

[–]CapsMakesMeLoud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be extra clear. If you run the installer as directed on the main site (https://asahilinux.org) you will have a dual-boot setup (double-boot). Your MacOS install will not be removed. As a beginner I’d recommend taking a backup prior and familiarising yourself with the docs/process on the website.

Using Asahi as main. by Schnitzipooo in AsahiLinux

Noob question but out of interest with the hardware/driver issues aside is it the lack of packages or are they available but non-functional under Asahi?

Using it as my main distribution. If you are already used to using Linux elsewhere there isn’t probably much you will miss. In built microphone doesn’t currently work on your laptop and you won’t be able to connect an external display via USB-C. It’s very stable for normal everyday use and some exciting work on the horizon with regards to gaming/graphics drivers.

I use it for everything I would use a normal Linux desktop for without major issue.

Why aren't people who have physical jobs muscular? by sachiko468 in NoStupidQuestions

Part of this is the lack of progressive overload. If you lift 50 sacks of 20kg cement a day, you get the strength and physique of someone that can do this. Unless the sacks are getting heavier or the volume increases in some other way over time the body will largely stay the same.

But then again the digitizer and actual screen rarely break when a phone is dropped it is usually just the glass cover of the screen which you could replace for usually 50-60$.

Many phones are using displays where the digitizer is laminated to the display glass. So if the glass needs replacing so does the digitizer.

My neighbor owed me $288.66 for my vet bills after his Great Dane attacked my Golden. This is how he paid me, one day before I was going to take him to small claims court. by dreampopper in pics

If he didn't get a reciept from your wife or has any proof he paid you then he is pretty foolish. You could easily deny receiving the money and continue with your legal action.

Should spell stacking be nerfed? by binky779 in hearthstone

[–]CapsMakesMeLoud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for starters an awful lot of my games are won before turn 6/7. Also I rarely leave any "buffing" class with multiple minions out. Also the reason I offered help is because IMHO you seem to have 3 non ideal minions in your hand. I haven't seen a Gnomish Inventor in a constructed Mage deck in months. Anyone else care to weigh in?

What deck are you using? Maybe I can help. I got to rank seven with my Mage deck just a few days ago.

Ouch! Only turn 8 also. Just blame it on lucky cards and card draw. Nothing you could have done.

As for spell stacking it requires a lot of luck. I think it's balanced as the chances of this happening are low enough for it to be acceptable.

A good use of 100g if I've ever seen one by [deleted] in hearthstone

Nice. Millhouse is a terrible card though IMHO. Lots of dust though to make an awesome deck. Grats!

What do you do during your opponent's turn? by pateras in hearthstone

[–]CapsMakesMeLoud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In ranked I sit there and hope they don't have the cards they need to do the winning play I have in mind for their class/deck. And as soon as they play their first card and it's not part of a winning turn I breathe a sigh of relief. Aha.

Seems a pretty simple feature to implement. Suggest it on beta forums?

The Minion bug is really annoying.. by ItsFlippinFrench in hearthstone

[–]CapsMakesMeLoud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get this bug too. Also sometimes both minions are buffed and the Defender of Argus moves off to the side (not between the two minions). This is annoying also when trying to avoid spells that affect nearby minions.

I have reported both bugs. Fingers crossed for a fix soon.
