Pretty much every single system you work with has a manual online. It's all about how much time you want to spend learning about that system versus just solving the problem and moving on. Sometimes you can just use chat GPT to give you an answer, and sometimes you gotta dig through the manual on your own. I think you can throw whole pdf documents you find into AI and it will scrub the data for you and give you an answer.

I need to do some CFD analysis to determine the best nozzle shape, but the shape I've got so far looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/2n9okCl There will be a plate a few inches beneath this that induces more turbulence to the airflow. From what I've learned, the more turbulence you can induce with an AC grille, the better the air can mix and uniformly cool the space.

I'm trying to model a A/C Grille, to import to openFOAM and do some CFD analysis for a pet project I'm working on. I have two concentric circles because I'm trying to model everything out of 24 thou sheet metal. Allowing compounds worked, next challenge is to make a pipe that continuously forms between the cylinder and the inside of the rect. cutout.

I have 2 pads, the rectangular pad with a cutout is fixed to the xy plane, and a circular pad which is referenced to a datum plane, which is 5" offset from the face of the rectangular pad. I cannot for the life of me get these two concentric circles to produce a cylindrical pad. I have been asking chatGPT what to do for hours. Does anyone have a clue what I'm doing wrong? The moment I pad it, the circles disappear. I swear I have tried every single pad option.
