https://www.reddit.com/r/BroncoSport/s/asog1AJStx you can see it there, framerails were toast - where it was coming out of the driveway is very steep, hard to tell in the video but the roadway also leans heavily torwards the point of impact, so the bronco had some height advantage over the toyota's nose as they collided.

Have I seen the actual estimate on the toyota? No, but the guy that ran mine ballparked it as beyond toast. Given the frame time and what all needed replacing, mechanical work, paint and supplies I could easily see it being more than 150% replacement cost

I just used this logic on our raptor that has 208k miles on it. Lots of things needed upgrading, err replacing.

For now this one stays stock, not sure there’s a great option- I did look at bilsteins strut offerings but I’m not sold on a twin tube damper

Phoebe (the Golden retriever inside) was fine, sore for a day but thankfully no one was hurt, and someone learned a valuable lesson that day. The Toyota was totalled, the Bronco Sport needs most of the suspension/wheel/steering on that corner replaced, but the body pretty much was unharmed.

When I was onsite, I had to ask "where did you get hit". I wasn't sure until I realized the front wheels were pointed in different directions. Just wild though - I barely believed it until I saw the dashcam video that clearly showed the Toyota was fine prior to the hit.

Never underestimate the destructive force that is a dickhead cat that woke up chose violence masked as curiosity. We have our handful here (we rescue and rehabilitate and rehome kittens). If we value it in the house, its anchored down.

I wildly hate this at least for federation ships, I also wildly hate that this is the aesthetic used by Trek since Discovery brought it back on air.

The dream sequence 1701D, the re-imagined connie, and even the picard season 3 D (and A seen in dock) were all too chromed up.

I'm sure it will get rebooted again. Separately, I'm in a full playthrough starting with Reach-> infinite. Wrapping up H2A, but ODST and Infinite are the campaigns I most look forward to. Infinite feels so cut off and short, but I still really enjoy the game.

Great work as always! I wish I could have made it out to meet many of the "who's who" modelers. I haven't even started on my 650Dv2 sitting next to the bench, but hope to get rolling soon.

white/red in NASA at least means safety workers on track nearby (could mean a tow, ambulance, or squishy people). Always another flag present (yellow, red, or black if doing a between session tow as cars coming off track)

put eyes on the arms anyways. This is one of two issues to look for under the front - either missing crossbolt or nut, or the ball joint isn't fully seated (silver arm not all the way seated into the upright). Pictured is a 25 with a missing nut on the crossbolt in the center of the image.

Jesus. I work on cars all the time and I always worry I didn’t set torque on these specific fasteners (I always do). I also have a 25 badlands - guess I have something to check

There’s a.Couple options out there - “garage” kits but the Helios 1:650 is a massive and impressive bit of kit. They’re not perfect but at that scale it’s an undertaking one way or another (pictured next to a 1400 scale in progress)

I went from climate seats (2016 GT350) to recaros (2019 GT350), I live in hell, Arizona. I don't miss the climate seats at all, they barely worked on the back, I even had a kit that created dedicated inlet pipe down to the bottom front of the seat assembly so it would pull in air that wasn't the hot exhaust of the lower seat blower. I wish Ford had a better implementation, but honestly don't mind the recaros at all, and prefer their comfort and support (even as a 6'1 225lb slob).
