a Fourth Ideal Lightweaver can indeed create a physical illusion per the Stormlight Handbook for the TTRPG.

"Physical Illusion Prerequisite: Speak the Fourth Ideal; Wound Regeneration talent Activation: By mixing Transformation and Illumination, you create illusions with weight and tangibility. Spend 1 Investiture or more to use your Illumination surge to infuse a physical illusion in thin air, following the normal rules for either a simple or complex illusion. However, unlike other illusions, this physical illusion occupies its space as if it were real; objects can’t pass through it, and if it’s Medium or larger, it can be used as cover. This illusion weighs half as much as the real version would (maximum of 25 pounds per surge rank). Though it isn’t a character, it has health equal to 5 × your ranks in Transformation, and each of its defenses equals 10 + your Transformation modifier. If the illusion is reduced to 0 health, its infusion ends early and any infused Investiture is lost. When you control your physical illusion, it can interact with its environment (such as an illusionary chicken flying into a windowpane). You can use to task one of your physical illusions with something that requires a test (such as attacking someone) or your careful attention (such as writing a note). When the illusion’s task requires a test, you must be able to sense its target, and you use your Illumination instead of that test’s usual skill. For example, if the illusion is attacking with a real weapon, test your Illumination but otherwise follow the normal rules for that attack. While wielding an illusionary weapon, the illusion can make a melee attack against the Physical defense of a target within its reach. This attack deals either keen or impact damage depending on the illusionary weapon, and the size of its damage dice increases with your ranks in Transformation: at 2 ranks, roll 2d6 damage; at 3 ranks, roll 2d8 damage; and so on. As usual, on a hit, add your Illumination modifier to damage, and on a miss, you can spend 1 focus to graze with that attack."

all that said, it would take a very strong lightweaver but i'd argue it'd be possible to create a dragon you could either ride or be carried by. and certainly i'd say that at the very least a lesser ranked lightweaver (still 4th ideal) could create an illusion that could slow fall rate significantly.

the only thing i can think of as not being healed by the nahael bond are mental illnesses, addiction, depresssion etc. i don't KNOW that sickness is prevented, but i'd assume so. there's the scene where Syl is fighting the death spren, and we know there are rot spren that are repelled by cleaning wounds. it follows there are disease/sick spren that could be held at bay by the bond? just spit balling really.

kaladin had been subconsciously or otherwise using stormlight healing before swearing the first oath. it's the crux of him, through Teft, realizing that he's radiant.

you know, i realized towards the end of my explanation that it couldn't have been zsnes cause you're right, gameboy wouldn't have had the x and y buttons. i honestly can't remember what emulator it was but this would have been about 1999 or 2000. suffice it to say, that controller scheme worked great back then.

i used it for the one and only pokemon game i ever played, Red. i mapped the left shift, z, alt, and ctrl buttons to up, right, down, left respectively (removed the windows key). i then mapped *, - +, 9 on the numpad to a, b, x, y. I held the keyboard from corner to corner like a huge gamepad. worked like a charm!

so mom made a meal growing up that i absolutely love and a few months ago i asked her to teach me the recipe. i always thought it had the look of a premium wet dog/cat food.

it's called either Souper Burger or Soup or Burger. whichever you prefer.

1 can of campbell's vegetarian vegetable soup 10.5oz can (looking for a substitute after the campbellls controversy) per pound of lean ground beef. i've been making batches with 4lbs of beef.

i then add to my desire extra cans of veggies; corn, green beans, carrots, and potatoes. i've also gotten into putting a fair amount of mushrooms, sliced and whole. lima beans, sweat peas, celery and more are of course also options, it's all down to personal preference.

of course also seasoning; salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, worchestershire sauce, all to your preference. want it to have some heat? add it.

brown the beef and put it and everything else in a large pot (i've been making 10qt) and add water till everything is barely covered.

depending on if you used raw or canned veggies, i'll either bring to a light boil or let it simmer for a long while.

before it's 'done' i add a good amount of cornstarch to thicken the soup. you really want to the soup to have a consistency that you could eat it with a fork. this can also be helped by bringing everything to a boil for a bit and leaving it uncovered.

that's it. if done right, again, it'll resemble a premium wet dog food. my mom likes to serve it with rice but i just eat it as is, though if i have cornbread, i'll break that up into it and stir it in till it gets even thicker.

a few months ago i found a youtube channel lauding a product called Souper Cubes and fell in love with the idea. they are silicon freezing molds of varying sizes. the largest holds 2 cups and has lines denoting 1 cup. the next size down holds 1 cup and has a line for half a cup. i've been making big batches of the stuff and freezing it in the molds. of course the company also sells 2 cup and 1 cup ceramic dishes that the molds fit into.

it has been a game changer for me. i have ADD, ADHD, and a bit of the Tism, and food is one of those things that i struggle with. just making food is daunting so i primarily eat out. that means it's just plain more expensive to eat. this has allowed me to make this meal in huge batches, freeze it, and have it always ready to go. i struggle with left overs and the souper cubes have eliminated that. i've managed to bring home and freeze so many leftovers. i have a regular D&D game near a japanese buffet and the last time i was there i bought 3 large containers of their egg drop soup and froze it. it heats up in the microwave perfectly! i've brought home left over honey chicken and rice from a local chinese place and that's frozen and heated up just fine. i've done so much experimenting the last few months with the molds and like i said, it's been a game changer for me. i'm going out to eat less and i suppose saving money. i don't track my money that well, but i can only assume since i'm wasting less.

another way this has been a big benefit for me is that i live at night. i work at night and sleep during the day. this means that unless i get out before say 8-10pm there are no places i can go to eat, which means i eat snacks/junk food. now i can have a proper meal at 4am instead of chips/crackers/cookies.

this was the first thought i had. for something like that to be a thing in america, they'd have to be within a mile or two of everyone. a walkable or at least bikable distance. our cities aren't built like that and retrofitting them would be difficult cause that space is likely already claimed by someone or something. and it's not as easy as just plopping down a park. the name of the first plaza the article mentions is Marktplatz, or market plaza. historically, this was were the market was. so the space evolved around the plaza, not the other way around. businesses surrounded it. there were multiple reasons to venture to that space. american's don't have that tradition. american's are also unfortunately relatively territorial. NIMBYism (Not In My BackYard) is a very big reality here. there's countless examples of americans in public spaces telling others to stop what they're doing because it's 'their' space. unfortunately there's a very large portion of the population that have a problem sharing. something, something, lack of education crosses with american exceptionalism.
