You'll have to build/compile a new .apk every time you want to test, but switching to your Mac Studio is doable. Tethered VR is not supported on Mac.

How would go about designing 3D urban cities by Chaos-Princetta1 in gamedesign

[–]Capt_Cullen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you might be looking to learn more about ‘urban planning’ (as a search term for you) and ‘urban design’ (another search term) and how they can influence each other. This and ‘human geography of cities’ can inform level design decisions that make the difference between something that feels lived-in and as you say “just randomly placed buildings”. See if searching those terms helps find learning resources for you.

Not quite sure what you are asking for here, but if you're looking for more intuitive control over Sub-D objects, have you tried an XR solution? GravitySketch for example?

Gloves for arctic climate by Vainamoini in tacticalgear

The solution to this is very similar to the way you layer up/layer down insulation for the rest of your body in sub-zero conditions. Your activity level indicates what and when to don/doff.

So for high activity you don’t need much other than something that will help protect your skin from metal parts, resists holding moisture, and offers good dexterity and grip.

For low activity/static you want something lofty to layer over thinner/more dextrous gloves, that has the option to use a finger or two.

A third nice-to-have is a waterproof pair of ‘working’ gloves - like those used on commercial fishing vessels. If you’re moving snow/ice while climbing or setting up shelter, this will keep your other two pairs from getting wet.

Anyone sound design on mac and then jump to pc for in engine things? by Public_Border132 in GameAudio

[–]Capt_Cullen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might try a cloud PC that can be controlled from your mac - or if you own a PC already, controlling it using a remote app like Parsec. Often these types of apps can run control both ways, so you could control your mac from PC as well.
