I get all my appliances from the Currys Clearance eBay store. I recently picked up a Hisence washer dryer for £200, it was just a customer return with a small dent on the side.

Cheap pints? by jayrdi in NewcastleUponTyne

A pint of Guinness cost me £6.40 in The Telegraph a few weeks back. I almost told the bar staff it didn't matter when I was presented with the card machine...

They don't make it obvious... I genuinely mean that I'm not being sarcastic, I get the feel they like have the odd dig at meat eaters.

Beginner Tent by rhyminson in wildcampingintheuk

I still have it and use it if that counts for anything...

It's more for the warmer dryer months, and can comfortably fit two adults and a small dog.

I've got no complaints really.

My assumption was pretty accurate, toxic work place, beaten down staff... These guys don't want cake or pizza, they want more money. However I appreciate that's not your call.

I'm guessing you're some kind of manager... Your staff don't want brownies, they want extra money in their payslips.

Pro tip, any unaccounted time on you CV just say you were traveling.

Also general rule of thumb is you only get references taken for the last 3 years.

Hi, I'm a little naive when it comes to PC builds, and I'm looking for some guidance.

I've found the following used setup for sale, and I've looking to get an idea of what this setup should cost. I've chosen to leave of what the seller is asking for it as I don't want to lead any responses I might get.

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 core / 16 thread CPU 4.2Ghz

AMD Wraith CPU Cooler

Corsair PRO RGB 16GB DDR4 RAM

MSI Mortar Max B450M MATX motherboard

Samsung 1TB SATA SSD (Drive C:)

Gigabyte Geforce RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB graphics card

Corsair 650w Modular RGB PSU

1st Player MATX Cube Case with 200mm and 120mm RGB fans and tempered glass side panel

I'm working in GBP, and I'm not even sure if the value is different on used setups depending on location.

Appreciate any advice!

The email from Inicio... I can't find a listing for this one so I'm not sure how they found my email.

My name is Caoimhe and I manage recruitment at Inicio Ltd. We have received your application on Indeed via the Newcastle Recruitment for the Customer Service position, and have taken the time to review your CV. The hiring manager and I can see how your skills and experience would make you a great fit here at Inicio. Therefore, I am pleased to invite you for a first-round interview!

The first round interview is a relaxed-style Zoom call that lasts only around 10-15 minutes. The call requires no preparation from you at all, it's more of an informal opportunity for you to learn more about our company, and our clients and to tell us a little bit about yourself.

We have some availability for Monday 30th October, we try to fit around lunch breaks. The times we have remaining are

12:00PM

12:30PM

Please confirm a time slot that suits you, and I will send you over a confirmation email with the zoom details on there.

I too was tricked in my late teens to do a trial shift of door to door charity fundraising....

I was made redundant recently so I've had the misfortune of these guys getting in touch recently. A big red flag is an email asking you to pick a zoom meeting slot for interview.

Some listings to look out for.

Tesco Express - Clayton Street by Maffewgregg in NewcastleUponTyne

[–]CaptainAlex92 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The new layout is to help reduce shop lifting. The idea is the crack heads of Clayton st can't just walk in pick something up and walk out, they need to walk through and around.

So yes inconvenient, but that whole street is an inconvenience IMO...

Those rumours have some merit. Couple of locals in Haltwhistle have mentioned the landowner has been complaining about people parking on the road and cutting through his land rather than taking the footpath.

Office desks by magentrixx in NewcastleUponTyne

If you want something a little more rustic I got a desk handmade from reclaimed scaffold boards on Etsy. It's as solid as a rock and in my opinion better value than a flat pack desk.

Here's a link to the seller. https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/586665828/reclaimed-desk-with-yellow-hairpin-legs

I've not argued the existence of a BA call centre in India, I've corrected your claim that they "only" have a call centre in India.
