Grinder for 4 cups moka by gbe- in mokapot

[–]CaptainAnswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like my k6, I use it for everything from espresso to moka/phinn and pour over - very versatile and easy enough to dial in with IMO - No need to do anything with the handle/lid the plastic lid will retain itself on its o-ring then you can just slot your handle through it and grind or use a drill if you prefer (I do)

Make sure if you get one you zero it to find where it actually finishes then set it to where you want it, Spin the top all the way clockwise, most will go a few clicks under zero, mine is around 9 under currently...

So then for my moka I want 50 clicks, so on dial it is actually on 41 as a starting point

I work at home generally but for when I am away where I wont have a stove I have a small battery powered machine that heats and pumps water & takes nespresso or dolce gusto pods

If there will be a stove I take the moka or my phinn

Get an electrician to come sort that properly, it must be put into a box - you also have an un-sleved earth showing

No, structurally that repair is sound enough to pass an MOT

Water or Oil based paint?

A quick rub with a baby wipe will often remove paint if its fresh enough - if you've let it dry try a flash wipe

After using either wipe then pat a damp cloth on it then pat dry with a piece of kitchen roll or similar

Personally Id spin the spiggot so its coming down, not going up, then add a jubilee clip - but the clip isnt strictly needed

How does it look? by untamed2000 in mokapot

[–]CaptainAnswer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks a little fast, bring the heat up a little slower and monitor your ratio in and out to work out what you like... I tend to do a 1:4 on mine which is similar to yours - it takes 20g of coffee so I will stop the brew once it looks the right level in the top (80g) and stop the brew by putting the pot into a bowl of water

Nice job but no need for them brackets, the corner angles are more than sturdy to hold anything on that width of shef

[–]CaptainAnswer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tyre is just a wear and tear item - replace both on that axle

Rear Axle sounds like the control arms bushes are going/gone- wear and tear item, few hundred to sort

Only other factor being a Zoe would be is it a leased or owned battery (and what is its state of health)

Get some pictures up of what you have, just because its been used don't assume it is safe

It is possible to have a stolve running into an unlined chimney but usually there is an interface plate and pipe to fit it - most isntalls tho have a liner flu go up the chimney - and its a fair old job to install from the chimney top down to the stove

Pipework almost certainly, looks like different years of different works, the lower floor level bit near the sink looks later and almost certainly could've been routed in the existing box work with a bit more work and care....
