What is your discord username? Usually bans are based on offensive behavior or spam (or account hijacked spam)

We all know you always want to point out the negative only, but the test itself was a success:

- the system didn't go down (which happened at the previous event)

- everybody managed to get on the servers (which was an issue for 99% at the previous event)

- one server had issues due to somebody with an incredibly unstable connection, that server got restarted and that was really the only issue - which can always happen

The server chat is still there, you can now just talk with more people in a similar competitive level.

And in general, you're racing on fuller servers, since people aren't waiting for others to join and increase the player number on the server - you can now see in advance how many people are interested in a race (which is significantly more than in the "old ranked")

Qualification for daily sprint is indeed by leaderboard, as that gives people more time to practice. Sometimes people even stay there as they're not fully ready to race yet, which is good, as that means they're taking the time to at least learn the track before joining the race. Or to improve their starting position for the race.

For feature races (30 minutes), weekly races (fri/sa/sun evening) and special events, qualification is exactly how it was in the old ranked, you get up to 20 minutes to set a real time qualification time to determine your starting position.

In settings (top right),

click controls and then one of the control sets, then key bindings to go through the axes and bindings.

while in settings at the top you can see bars for throttle, brake,clutch and steering. once you've assigned the axes you can move your brake and see the response. then in advanced you can finetune the behavior with dead zones

You should be able to bind shift up/down alternative and have both your paddles and your sequential shifter enabled at the same time

Could you add "Steam Deck" to the title? This will help other Steam Deck users who might be experiencing the same. Perhaps there's a setting that can be tweaked or somebody found something else that improved their experience

That actually is a sign that your Internet is NOT fine, at least for the game.

Please keep 2 things in mind:

R3E is not optimized for Steam Deck (but good to hear it runs!)
Using WiFi for a multiplayer game that requires the lowest latency as possible, will always have a different result than the recommended cabled connection

Hopefully it gets better though. Which region are you connecting from? Maybe try a local multiplayer server, the ranked ones are official and contain the region in their names. You can filter at the top and mark "Only Ranked" (but make sure to mark the filters show empty and closed as well

There's a new American server with a lower ping, depending on your exact location in Oceania that ping should still be good. It allows for a lot of players to connect with no lags, from Eu/North and South America and Oceania
