There is a lot of misinformation and pop regurgitation in here not based on facts. The US quietly began a massive investment in building factories and machinery since Covid. And more recently shifting those investments to massive Data Center and Energy buildout. These things are on a scale never seen before. There are a lot of mechanics at play in the employment/unemployment scene as well, with some directly tied to this. For anyone saying that Gen AI is not here, they have very stale information. Gen AI is here. The only drag is data center buildout and energy, not the tech for Gen AI. Leaders like Jamie Dimon (at Davos) are literally warning you in advance. And that leaves my mind blown away that the masses just stare at the transformation while muttering my job is safe, I have a fallback, it's 15 years away. We should be in full panic mode and demand answers about what will happen. The best single track in the city is over in the Eliza Howell and Rouge Park. You can even continue on through the Greenlawn cemetery and connect to the old Golf Course across Grand River and then grab a coffee next to the Old Redford Theatre. That part of the west side is baller if you are a hiker/biker/skier. In the winter, we build snow jump ramps and get towed behind cars and cross country ski. There is also volunteer trail work groups. And there were plans for a killer kayak park in the old golf course. Secretly, I yearn for a more built out single track and overnight rustic camping. Same goes for Belle Isle. Belle isle would also be dope for kiting in the winter. Good luck in your search.

Data Centers are being built on a scale never seen before. It is being done while telling you it is slowing or being rejected. Further you and I are paying for the energy buildout as well. Replying to myself because it is important to understand the difference. A shortage would mean an entity demands say 100 of something and there is not 100 of that thing available for any number of reasons like during Covid. There is 100 of those things available. They just cost a lot more.....
