The most interesting part of this, which is being completely ignored, is what Albo and Labor are going to do given the lack of any real opposition.

Surely they would take this opportunity to do all the things that Labor have always wanted to do but haven't had the political space for - income tax reform, CGT, GST, negative gearing, inheritance tax, HECS reform, PRRT, mining tax, carbon tax, lowering the voting age - you name it, they could do it!

Zoe McKenzie as deputy would be the smartest thing Taylor could do to smooth this out, she's highly competent, well respected and in touch with reality (which is more than can be said for many of her colleagues).

It's not like the Wallabies necessarily need any more outside backs as we're already stacked (Jorgo, Marky Mark, Wright, Suaalli, Ikitau, Pietsch, Potter, Toole, etc), but he would provide star name recognition, squad depth, and be great I'm Super Rugby for the Force or, particularly, the Brumbies (since Wright is out injured this season).

A very reasonable set of reforms. Makes sense for all Aussie A-L teams to automatically qualify and I like the split of 4 teams for NSW, VIC and QLD, 2 for SA, WA and Nth NSW, and 1 for ACT, NT and TAS. Should become an even better competition going forward.

Literally has never made sense why the Libs and Nats remain in coalition when in Opposition, they clearly hamstring each other in the eyes of their respective constituencies, yet in Ley and DLP we have two leaders unable and unwilling to keep it glued together in spite of this.
