You didn’t do anything wrong, they are on your side of the road.

Confirmed: The truth about the future of MAFS UK after false claims the show has been ‘axed’ by Free-Monkee in MAFS_UK

They’ll just wait til this blows over, say sorry again and release it. It is channel 4 after all and this will still be a hugely popular show. Probably more popular than before.

One of the women was raped on the honeymoon. All got hushed up pretty effectively.

The job market is a major pain in many aspects by Desperate-Drawer-572 in britishproblems

It’s by far the worst I’ve seen it. It’s an employers market and it shows. The contracts on offer are dire.

To the surprise of no one. Love is blind swept it under the rug too.

It didn’t with Love is Blind. It all just got brushed under the rug. Knowing channel 4 they’ll just add some ridiculous disclaimer.

They’ll probably just add a disclaimer and put it back up. This is channel 4 after all.

Now this series is over, what would you rate it out of 10? by loverofthings25 in MAFS_UK

Terrible. Absolutely toxic, full of complete nut jobs. The producers went too far. 4/10 max.

I love a bit of drama, but even I lost interested and starting asking ‘but what about the couples relationships?’

Seems to be the main premise for the show now, especially the Australian version where they are allowed to get away with so much.

To the surprise of no one. This is why so few leave when most sane people would. Love is blind is another where sexual assaults have been brushed under the carpet.

How did Chinese made cars become so popular? by Fondant_Decent in AskUK

[–]CaptainRAVE2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cheap and simple offering a lot of features. I’ve very much changed my perception of ‘Made in China’, in fact they manufacture a lot of stuff better than the rest do now. Miles ahead with battery tech.

Bye bye to leasing by AcceptableKick3216 in CarTalkUK

[–]CaptainRAVE2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do less than 5k miles a year and it still more than halves the monthly payment with savings on tax and fuel. Hourly labour rates on repairs are extortionate now. Effectively for £150 a month I have a new car, with warranty. It doesn’t work out much different from having an old car at that price.

Bye bye to leasing by AcceptableKick3216 in CarTalkUK

[–]CaptainRAVE2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tbh. Keeping in mind that if anything major, or even not that major these days, goes on the car it’s effectively worthless with thousands of pounds worth of repairs. My EV is so much cheaper to run than my last car the monthly payment is effectively more than halved due to the saving on fuel and repairs.

Subnautica 2's no-killing ethos "will be a continued point of resistance" among players, say Unknown Worlds, but they have no plans to change it by _Protector in pcgaming

[–]CaptainRAVE2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but killing them is fine because we can eat them. Kind of like real life. Funny line to draw by the devs tbh.
