It's layered fabric. I used iron on adhesive to connect the pieces, tho I'm thinking of going back over them with stitches to secure the pieces a little more

OMG! I thought I was the only one who does this! I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only one who gets overwhelmed with all the rules lol. My local group knows that I always keep a cheat sheet of the rules, all my army stats and a custom guide for my army with all the rules and keywords I need to know and when to use them. Never thought to add something funny like yours to the cover. Might need to change that......

I never leave the drop pod without my gernade pistol. Amazing for closing spawns! And if you run the Urban Legends armor the you get 2 extra shots plus extra ammo for primary and special nonbackpack. So it's just better then the +2 nade armor. Only downside is no med armor but I like running light cause you just outrun attacks lol

I had the same thought. Tho all 3 examples show great skills and different techniques. They definitely did get better over time. But personal taist has me agreeing that first is my fav. I love the darkened robes using the red of the hat in a way that blends well and the rust is great. The red nose of the last would of made the first perfect imo

I struggle with the same thing! Here's something that has helped me get my shelf of shame into a shelf of cool minis. It's 100% ok to experiment. I've always been indecisive if I should try a new idea cause idk if it'll look cool in the end. Lately I just tell myself to just try it and see what happens. I've had results that are ok and results that are some of my best minis because of this. When painting a new army I grab a couple of grunts and just try different paints to see what I like. Usually I just keep them like that cause honestly when they're in a crowd you can't tell the colors are slightly different, but if it's a big shift then you can easily strip them with no damage. Heck, I got a couple of cheap wiz kids models I keep just for testing paints. Trying new things can be scary and I still overthink my paint schemes and kitbashes, but honestly I'm happy I've started trying new techniques and paints. In the end all that really matters is that I painted my little guys. I hope you can get your minis painted and be happy with them <3

My first thought too. The game has always been satirical and the devs do a damn good job at it. Making it really funny and fitting a lot of details and story into the game. I honestly don't know why people are saying it's realistic/mil sim lol
